Man left with potentially life-threatening injuries after crash in Trafford

It's thought the driver had a medical episode behind the wheel

A man's fighting for his life in hospital after suffering a suspected medical episode behind the wheel before crashing with a lamppost.

It happened on Redclyffe Road at about 7pm on Saturday.

Police cordoned off the area and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment where in remains.

GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have dash cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage to come forward and assist their investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741, quoting log 2832 of 19/10/2024.
