Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song welcome their first child together
They're not Home Alone anymore!
Home Alone superstar Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Brenda Song, who rose to fame on Disney's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, have officially welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Since the pair had not previously announced the pregnancy, it's safe to say the news has come as a pleasant shock to the internet.
Macaulay's representative confirmed the news to OK! Online, saying that the happy couple are "overjoyed" with the arrival of their baby boy, who has been named Dakota. The babs name is reportedly a tribute to Mack's late sister, who sadly passed away in 2008.
Although neither celeb has personally shared any news about their latest arrival, Esquire reports that Dakota was born on 5th April, at 1:10pm, in Los Angeles and weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
The pair have been dating for a few years now, after meeting on the Changeland film set, a movie in which they both starred.
Macaulay had previously hinted that him and Brenda were trying for a baby, laughing "We're figuring it out, making the timing work. Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, 'Honey, I'm ovulating'."
Macaulay rose to stardom when he was just 10-years-old, starring in the hit film Home Alone, along with its sequel. And, of course, Brenda came into our lives in Disney's huge show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, as the ICONIC London Tipton, starring alongside twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse.
Brenda recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of The Suite Life, taking to her Instagram to write, 'My actual reaction when I just read that it’s the 15th anniversary of the premiere #thesuitelifeofzackandcody !! That’s insane! I’ve never felt so old. Hahaha. Such an incredible life changing time. Miss you gang!' (sic).
With Dakota's parents being some-what 90s and 00s TV and movie legends... Is it weird to be jealous of a 1 week old baby?
