Eminem has become a grandad — and his newborn grandson has been given a sweet name in tribute to him. The daughter of the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, announced the news in a post on Instagram on 4th April 2025, revealing she's named her son Elliot Marshall McClintock.
Hailie Jade said in her post: 'happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e 🤍', sharing a pic of the little boy alongside a letter board revealing his name and birth date (14th March 2025). Fans were quick to spot he'd been given his Grandpa's first name as his middle name.
Congratulations flew in from fans, with one writing: 'He looks like Em 💙', while another said 'Congratulations 💙🥹 I love that his initials are EMM 😭'.
How was Hailie's pregnancy announced?
Eminem took to Instagram to announce the pregnancy back in October via a new music video for his track 'Temporary', featuring Skylar Grey. The video shows home footage of Eminem walking his daughter down the aisle during her wedding in May, as well as showing the emotional moment she told her dad she was pregnant.
As the new vid draws to a close, 28-year-old Hallie gives her dad a Detroit Lions shirt with the words 'Grandpa' on, as well as the baby scan photo.

Fans of 'The Real Slim Shady' singer were quick to comment on the post.

Hallie also shared the pregnancy news on her own Instagram page, posting a photo alongside her husband Evan McClintock . She wrote: 'mom & dad est. 2025 🤍'. (sic)
