Ellie Goulding gives birth to 'a beautiful healthy baby'

Congratulations are in order for 'Destiny' singer Ellie Goulding, as the 39-year-old has welcomed her second child into the world, her first with 28-year-old boyfriend Beau Minniear.
Sharing the lovely news to her fans on social media, Ellie has confirmed she gave birth to a baby girl on Friday 6th March, writing on her Story: 'On Friday I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her. It was fitting that I spent International Women's Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary's, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness. I will always be in awe of midwives.
'This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so so happy to become a big brother to this little angel'. (sic)
The 'Burn' hitmaker is yet to reveal any further details, including her daughter's name or weight.
Ellie first confirmed she was pregnant with her second child at the start of December last year, when she showed off her baby bump at The Fashion Awards.
The awards, which took place in at the Royal Albert Hall in London, saw Ellie wear a black outfit, consisting of a black crop top and jacket, coupled with black, cropped trousers. The singer's baby bump was on full display as she posed for photos on the red carpet.
The new arrival is the first child together for Ellie and her boyfriend Beau. The pair have been fairly private about their relationship, however they regularly comment on each other's Instagram posts, with Ellie often posting heart emojis on Beau's posts.
Over the summer last year, fans began to suspect the pair were in a relationship after Beau shared a photo of a blonde person in a double bed, to which Ellie responded: '❤️', with Beau replying to her comment, also with a '❤️'.
Ellie’s daughter is her second child. She shares her first child, a four-year-old son named Arthur, with her ex-husband, Caspar Jopling.
