It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since The Great British Bake Off first hit our screens! Initially airing on the BBC, before moving to Channel 4, Bake Off has become a staple part of British TV, so it's no surprise fans were hooked on the 2023 series!

Sharing a photo on social media of Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith, Noel Fielding and new host Alison Hammond, Channel 4 bosses wrote: 'Bake a date in your diaries.
'Join Paul, Prue, Noel and Alison on Tuesday 26th September at 8pm for the return of The Great British Bake Off. #GBBO'. (sic)
Bake Off shared a trailer for the show back in August, which saw baking ingredients be brought to life. The clip also featured brand-new host Alison Hammond alongside co-host Noel Fielding and judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.
Sharing the trailer on social media, the show added that it will be 'coming soon'.

Months after Matt Lucas revealed he'd be leaving Bake Off due to work commitments, bosses announced This Morning host Alison Hammond would be replacing him.
Announcing the news on Friday 17th March, GBBO posted on social media: '🍞BAKING NEWS 🍞 We’re delighted to announce that Alison Hammond will be joining forces with Noel Fielding to host the next series of The Great British Bake Off on @Channel4 later this year. We cannot wait! #GBBO'. (sic)
Alison also shared the news with her own followers, sharing a video of the amazing Bake Off cake, featuring herself and Noel, and judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
She wrote: 'It’s OFFICIAL!!! It’s happening The Great British Bake off ! Let’s have it ! The cake that is 😂#GBBO 2023 @britishbakeoff @noel_fielding @prueleith @channel4 @paul.hollywood'. (sic)
