BBC confirm full line-up for The Celebrity Traitors
The special series will air later in 2025
Ever since BBC bosses announced a celebrity edition of award-winning entertainment show The Traitors back in 2024, rumours have been seriously rife about which famous faces would be taking part in the special.
Following a leaked line-up which dropped online last month, the BBC have now confirmed 19 names for The Celebrity Traitors.
Which celebs are taking part?
At 7pm on Tuesday 13th May, bosses announced the official line-up for The Celebrity Traitors, including names such as Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Kate Garraway, Clare Balding, Paloma Faith and Charlotte Church.
Speaking about the amazing line-up, host Claudia Winkleman said: “We’re incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes. I’d love to say we’ll take it easy on them and they’ll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie.”

Is Bob Mortimer taking part?
Although Bob's name was on the leaked line-up last month, he doesn't feature in the BBC's official line-up.
When is it on TV?
There's no official start date for the celebrity version of The Traitors just yet, but it's understood filming at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands is now complete, with bosses saying the show will land in Autumn.
Mike Cotton, Creative Director Unscripted at Studio Lambert and Executive Producer for The Traitors, said earlier this year: “We are thrilled to be inviting some celebrities into our castle to come and play the game. Seeing famous faces navigate the round table or don the infamous green cloaks will be unmissable TV, and what a double treat for the fans with Series 4 also confirmed too. There's a whole lot of exciting treachery and deception yet to come from the Highlands… Claudia’s going to have to pack some extra knitwear.”
How can I watch other series of The Traitors?
Series one-three of The Traitors are available to watch on BBC iPlayer now, with series four expected in early 2026.
International versions of the popular show are also available to stream on iPlayer.
