Sabrina Carpenter is truly proving to be the gift that keeps on giving. From storming the charts with hits such as 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please', her latest album 'Short N' Sweet' has provided us with a whole treasure trove of hits to sink our teeth into - including her latest chart-topper 'Taste'. Well, after an incredible year for the singer, she's set to round it off with a Netflix holiday special!

That's right, mark your calendars as on 7th December 2024, Sabrina's first ever holiday special is set to land on the streaming platform here in the UK, with a very exciting trailer giving us a taste of what to expect - and it's left quite the impression!

When was it announced?

Captioning the clip: 'This is really gonna jingle your bells', Netflix added: 'A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter — her first-ever holiday special — features unexpected duets and comedic guests you will not want to miss! Mark your calendars for Dec 6 at 9PM ET/ 6 PM PT'.

In the clip, we see the 'Nonsense' singer wearing a festive get-up that's had the Sabrina Carpenter makeover, with her donning a hot pink sequin corset bodysuit, with knee-high black boots with a white fur trim.

Of course, fans could barely contain their excitement, with one writing: 'That’s that her our Christmas angel 😇 🎄', and another exclaiming: 'AM I CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR?', and another: 'MOTHER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??!!!!' (sic)

With the clip showing Sabrina asking: "Expecting someone else?", many fans were quick to comment on the Christmas special 'replacing' the iconic Mariah Carey's - a special which has become a festive staple over the years.

One fan wrote: 'expecting @mariahcarey but you are her favorite child star, so equally wow! 🤍⚡️', with another joking: 'Mariah carey forgot to defrost this season..' (sic)

When will her holiday special land on Netflix?

Sabrina Carpenter's festive special, titled A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter, will land on Netflix UK at 2am on 7th December 2024.

The special will feature performances, duets and guest acts, including comedians and 'unexpected' appearances.

The news of Sabrina's Christmas special comes just a week after her incredible VMAs performance - which certainly caught the attention of fans all over the world, with its alien cameos and Britney Spears homage.

Netflix say of the show: 'It’s a nonsense holiday and we’re so here for it. In this special with musical guests, pop icon Sabrina Carpenter will perform songs from her holiday EP fruitcake and other iconic chart-topping holiday covers. This special will also feature show-stopping music performances, comedic guests, unexpected duets, plus many more surprises and fun cameos'.

The full-length trailer was released on Tuesday 19th November, alongside the caption: 'It’s a nonsense holiday and we’re so here for it. In this special with musical guests, pop icon Sabrina Carpenter will perform songs from her holiday EP fruitcake and other iconic chart-topping holiday covers.

Toxic Town

Cast: Jodie Whittaker, Aimee Lou Wood, Robert Carlyle, Rory Kinnear, Stephen McMillan and Lauren Lyle.

Synopsis: Based on one of the UK's biggest environmental scandals, Toxic Town is the story of the people at the heart of the Corby poisonings. Focusing on the mothers, who took on a David and Goliath battle for justice, the series traces through the years of their fight as a terrible truth comes to the surface.

Bear Hunt

Hosts: Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls.

Synopsis: Holly Willoughby hosts this action-packed competition show that sees a group of unlikely British celebrities dropped into the Central American jungle as prey for one of the world's most fearsome predators – Bear Grylls. Bear believes there's an action hero inside us all - even the celebs - but how strong is their will to survive? Adolescence

Cast: Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Owen Cooper.

Synopsis: Adolescence (working title), is a crime drama filmed in an ambitious real-time, one-shot. It tells the story of how a family's world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested with the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school. Stephen Graham will play Jamie's father and 'appropriate adult', Eddie Miller. Ashley Walters stars as Detective Inspector Bascombe, and Erin Doherty is Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie's case.

Black Mirror series 7

The Undertow

Synopsis: Jamie Dornan will play the roles of identical twins, Adam and Lee, whilst Mackenzie Davis will play Adam's wife Nicola. The series is based on the Nordisk Film Production AS television series Twin, created by Kristoffer Metcalfe. The adaptation will be produced by Complete Fiction and wiip. Love Is Blind: UK series 2
