MAFS UK viewers in shock at Luke and Morag's revelations

The pair have split following the experiment

We aren't going to lie, at the start of the latest series of Married At First Sight UK we had absolutely zero hope for Luke and Morag, especially after the former Take Me Out star admitted she didn't find her husband attractive.

However, as the experiment went on, it had looked like the pair were getting closer, with Luke even admitting he'd give up his want for kids to travel the world with Morag.

Fans of the show then saw the pair remain together following their final vow renewal last week, so it was an ALMIGHTY shock when they pair turned up apart during Monday night's reunion show.

As Morag entered first alone, the experts watched on as she told the other girls Luke had 'ghosted' her, before a tentative Luke joined the party. She said: "The long and short of it was, the moment I left the experiment till now, Luke has never phoned me once."

Speaking to the experts later in the show, Morag said: "I felt like we ended on a high, I genuinely felt like we were in the best place that we could of been in at the time, obviously there were highs and lows. the position we were in, I felt like I owed it to us to give it a go. However, from the moment we left the experiment Luke hasn't phone me once. Every day I don't hear from him I get angrier and angrier."

After being asked to give his side of the story by the experts, the Welsh contestant added: "I still felt like she wasn't giving and I said look I'm not going to put any more pressure you at all so we agreed that I would give her space. I didn't ring her but every morning I made sure I messaged her and every night I did and in-between.

"We spoke on one day and you basically turned around and you categorically told me you have never seen us in a relationship, and it was like well what have I been fighting for? I asked her what does the TV final commitment mean to you and she said it's a TV show."

After some back and forth between the two, Luke confessed Morag told him her vow renewal performance was 'for the TV show', something she strongly denied saying.

Check out which MAFS UK couples are still together:

Adam and Tayah - ENGAGED

Adam and Tayah proved love at first sight most definitely IS a thing! These two immediately hit it off on their wedding day, with the pair even saying the L word on their honeymoon.

After zero issues throughout the process, viewers were over the moon when Adam proposed to Tayah for real during their final vow renewal.

Since the final episode, Adam and Tayah have been very loved-up on socials, and the couple welcomed their first child together in October 2022, a baby girl called Beau Emily Aveling.

Daniel and Matt - SPLIT

Despite seemingly falling for each other very quickly, Daniel and Matt had their struggles due to Matt living in Leeds and Daniel being from Northern Ireland. The pair remained together during the final vow renewal, and appeared seriously loved-up on social media, even looking to move in together in 2022.

Sadly, Matt and Dan took to their socials in December 2022 to reveal that they had split, admitting that they were better as friends, and that the split was amicable.

Luke and Morag - SPLIT

It's safe to say Luke and Morag didn't get off to the best start during the MAFS process. After Morag confessed she didn't find her husband attractive, the couple struggled with intimacy.

However, by the end of the process, Luke and Morag had seemingly found a spark, with the pair choosing to stay together during the final vow renewal.

Despite this, the pair confirmed during the reunion show they'd split up, with Morag admitting Luke hadn't phoned her since the process ended. However, Luke later said it was because Morag still didn't care for him.

Marilyse and Franky - SPLIT

These two shocked viewers during the final vow renewal when they revealed their true feelings for each other, with Franky even admitting he was ready to move back to the UK from Dubai.

Franky later gushed about his girl on social media, admitting he'd moved to the same town as Marilyse and met her children.

However, on Friday 8th October, the pair both released statements confirmed they'd split. They remain good friends.

Josh and Amy - SPLIT

There's no denying the fact that Josh and Amy had a whirlwind experience during the MAFS experiment. After the pair had initial doubts over their age-gap, the couple experienced a number of fiery arguments and disagreements.

However, by the end of the process the pair seemed closer than ever, with Josh opening up about his feelings towards Amy during the final vow renewal.

The pair have been pretty quiet on social media since the final and during the reunion show they confirmed they are no longer together.

Following last night's tense show, Luke has now spoken on social media, posting on his Instagram page: 'And that's a wrap! It's been hard to not say a thing, respond to all kind messages and thoughts and comments.

'I've learned so much. But my story has not ended here. I will try to do good things for so many people with a small platform in hope of moving forward from this experience and couldn't be more grateful.

'Met some friends for life ❤ But for now I'm going to try and sleep for the first time in months. 🤗 Thank you'. (sic)

Although series six of MAFS UK is now over, applications for the next series are open, with bosses looking for some brave singletons to take part in the experiment.
