MAFS Australia 2024 couple announce shock split

Although the 2024 series of Married At First Sight Australia is still currently airing here in the UK, the series finished a number of weeks ago in Australia, with this year's cast leaving the intense experiment.
Whilst we still have a few weeks left of the drama here, it's no surprise UK fans have been keen on reading spoilers from the show, so if you are one of them, read on!

2024 couple Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud, who were arguably the most solid couple throughout the experiment, have now taken to social media to announce they've split.
Despite a number of issues during Homestay Week, Eden and Jayden make it all the way to the final vows on the show, with the pair later continuing their relationship outside of the experiment when filming wrapped.
However, much to the shock of fans, 28-year-old Eden has now taken to social media to announce her split from Jayden.
Sharing a number of photos alongside Jayden, Eden told fans: 'When I made the decision at final vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with longterm intentions. Jayden & I spent many months together after the experiment, during which Cub gained a dad and I gained a second family who I’m truly grateful for.
'I’m saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end. The ‘reality’ is, the person I chose didn’t choose me. Whilst I’m disappointed, I will never regret the experiment, the people I met, the lessons I learnt and the growth this process has had on me.
'Thank you for supporting us and for also wishing for the same fairytale that I had hoped for'. (sic)
Kickboxer Jayden then shared his own post, writing: 'Sometimes in life, things don’t always go the way you had hoped for. After the experiment, Eden and I went back to the Gold Coast and continued to enjoy living our lives together and getting to know each other every day.
'However, unfortunately, our relationship ended not long before the end of the experiment airing. As sad as it is, I’m so glad I got to go through this with such an amazing woman and a beautiful son 🐶 You will both always have a second family on the Gold Coast ❤️'. (sic)
Following the news of their split, a source claimed to Daily Mail Australia: "Eden was in the dark about the whole thing and still doesn't know how Jayden feels about her.
"Jayden didn't really give her any real reason for breaking up with her.
"She tried her best to try and get things to work out and fix whatever issues he had but he wasn't willing to play game.
"He just completely switched off one day and it wasn't the same."
