If you'd planned to binge watch all five seasons of hit BBC drama Line of Duty on Netflix, ahead of series six next year, you're going to be very disappointed at this news!

Whether you were going to sit down for the first time and get hooked on AC-12's shenanigans, or watch some of the series with Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar again, it has been revealed that Line of Duty is being removed from Netflix.

The popular show, which first hit our TV screens back in 2012, will leave the streaming platform on Saturday 31st October, that's this coming Saturday!

Although it's not been revealed why, there is one silver-lining being that all five series of the show are currently available to users on the BBC iPlayer!

After filming for series six was postponed earlier this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, production restarted in September, with the show's creator Jed Mercurio sharing some behind-the-scenes snaps.

Paying tribute to the show's amazing stunt team, Jed wrote on Twitter, '#LineofDuty6 Huge respect to our stunts team led by Donal O’Farrell featuring ace stunt drivers Steph Carey and Dave Anders. It’s easy for me to write “van rolls” - they make it happen. Steph doubled for Keeley Hawes in S2 and hardcore LoD fans will recognise Dave from S4 ...' (sic)

The shows main stars, Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar, all took a break from filming last weekend to take part in a Celebrity edition of Gogglebox to help raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

The trio were inundated with love from fans of the show, as they commented on some of the nation's biggest shows of the week.

Meanwhile, although no official date for Line of Duty series six has been announced, it's expected to return to the BBC in 2021.
