Selling Sunset’s Jason and Chrishell CONFIRM split
The pair have both posted statements on social media
Selling Sunset’s golden couple Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause have split after just five months together.
After rumours emerged that they had decided to call it a day, Jason took to Instagram to confirm the news.
In a statement, he wrote: ‘While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support each other.
‘She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life. While we have different wants regarding a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for each other.'
He added: 'Chrishell is an exceptional human being and loving her and having her in my life is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.’
Chrishell also spoke about the split with a statement on Instagram that read: ‘Jason was and is my best friend, and other than our ideas for family ultimately not being aligned, the amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward.
‘Although my initial reaction to a private situation was to not speak on it, sometimes it’s easier to just live transparently as we only get one chance in this life.
‘I very much hope to one day have a family and decisions I make at this point are with that goal in mind. Thank you for the kindness and support to that understand.’
Chrishell continued: ‘And thank you Jason for the most incredible relationship and for consistently being honest with me even when it hurts.’
Some of the former couple’s co-stars commented on the posts, including Mary Fitzgerald who simply penned: ‘Love you both babe! ❤️❤️’

Chrishell shocked the world at the end of July 2021 when she announced she's now dating her Selling Sunset co-star and The Oppenheim Group boss Jason.
They confirmed the romance with a snap of them both looking rather cosy on a boat in Italy, with the caption: 'The JLo effect. 🤷🏻♀️'. (sic)
The real estate agent also confessed she was actually dating Jason for TWO MONTHS before they decided to go public.
Speaking to E! news, Chrishell said: "It's just one of those things. You don't want to share with everybody and get all their opinions before you really know what it is. We really were really private and secretive for as long as we could until we realized the walls were closing in. People were getting a little savvy to it.
"We made it to a point where we're really happy to share it because we knew exactly what it was, so it's all good."
