As we struggle to get over the fact that Love Island 2019 comes to an end tonight (Monday 29th July), it's not all bad news, as voiceover Iain Stirling has CONFIRMED he will be returning for the Winter edition of the show!

As well as this, the Scottish comedian has also hinted when the hugely-anticipated show will hit our TV screens, after ITV confirmed the news last week.

Speaking during an interview with Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold ahead of tonight's final, Iain said, "Do you know what, it's gonna be an absolute blast.

"Winter Love Island is gonna come back sooner than you thought and it's gonna be enjoyable."

After months of rumours that a Winter edition of the show will be aired, ITV revealed the show will be back after Christmas, in a new, stunning location - SOUTH AFRICA! A brand new bunch of singletons will head to a new villa in their quest to find love.

Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions at ITV said, “Off the back of a record-breaking year, we're delighted to be bringing an extra series of our biggest and sunniest show to the 2020 schedule.

"Love Island has proven yet again to be the perfect format that engages younger audiences. In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location."

We can't wait! 🙌

Meanwhile, back to the 2019 series! The final is due to take place on Monday 29th July, with Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea and India Reynolds and Ovie Soko.

TOMMY STOLE LUCIE FROM JOE

After surfer girl Lucie coupled up with Joe on the first episode of the series, things seemed to get off to a good start... before Tommy entered hours later.

Tommy chose to couple up with Lucie, stealing her from poor Joe. He said in the Beach Hut, "At the moment the girl I want to pursue is going to be Lucie. She's a surfer, she goes to the gym. Her body is banging. She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful face, beautiful everything."
