Fleur East reveals Janette Manrara's advice ahead of Strictly: It Takes Two debut
Fleur is set to host the popular spin-off show
Hits Radio presenter Fleur East has revealed the advice Janette Manrara gave her ahead of her Strictly: It Takes Two hosting debut.
Last month it was revealed that Fleur will be joining the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show following Rylan Clark's departure. After reaching the Strictly final last year alongside Vito Coppola, Fleur is now set to present It Takes Two with Janette.
As reported by Digital Spy, Fleur attended the premiere of TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure, where she revealed the advice she'd been given by her new co-host.
She said: "I have collaborated with Janette during the tour, and we have spent considerable time together. She's incredible, a powerhouse.
"The most valuable advice she offered me was that I bring the experience of having been on the show. Thus, I can relate to all the celebrities who are going through it this year! It's just perfect!"
Fleur also revealed that Janette has 'been amazing' and called her 'immediately upon learning the news'. Fleur added: "She said, 'Yes, I am so happy it's you.'"
As an avid fan of the hit dancing show, Fleur has previously spoken of her excitement for her new role. She said: "Being a Strictly fan, I’m excited to get all the behind-the-scenes exclusives on the show. I know exactly what the next lot of celebs will be going through.
"It's an incredibly fun experience, but it’s tough! Hopefully, I can offer them a bit of support and a friendly face along the way. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started!"
We can't wait to see Fleur on Strictly: It Takes Two later this year!
