After the news earlier this year that Dancing On Ice would be returning to our screens in early 2025 for another brand new series, the brave celebrities who've signed up to take part are now starting to be unveiled.

Reality TV star and new Cash for Kids Ambassador Ferne McCann is the first celeb to be announced, with the news being revealed on Monday 30th October's episode of Good Morning Britain.

Ferne told the hosts: "I'm so excited, it's going to be a huge challenge but I'm excited for the glitz and glamour of the show."

Ferne is no stranger to TV, having started her career on reality show The Only Way Is Essex. After appearing on nine series, Ferne made the decision to leave in 2015, where she went on to take part on I'm A Celeb.

After making the final alongside George Shelley and Vicky Pattison, Ferne took part in a number of TV presenting gigs, before landing her very own series called Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, which aired on ITVBe.

The popular series was later rebranded to Ferne McCann: My Family & Me in 2023, after she announced her engagement to fiancé Lorri Haine, with the pair welcoming a baby girl called Finty Francis Haines-McCann. Just days ago, Ferne announced the end of the show following 13 series.

Ferne, who is also a proud mum to her daughter Sunday from a past relationship, has also recently become our brand new Cash for Kids Ambassador, where she will work with the team to raise awareness of the support it offers to vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

Not long after Ferne's announcement, bosses revealed The Traitors star Mollie Pearce was unveiled as the second celeb to be taking part in the 2025 series.

Announcing the news on Lorraine, Mollie said: "It will be fun, I want to challenge myself, I'm ready for the challenge."

Mollie shot to fame when she took part in the second series of popular BBC show The Traitors earlier this year.

In what was a pretty memorable final, Mollie finished the show as runner-up after winner Harry Clark revealed himself as a Traitor, going on to steal the £95,150 prize money away from her.
