Emmerdale spoilers: Will Taylor moves D.I Malone's body
Their nightmare isn't over yet
Last updated 9th Dec 2020
Ever since corrupt Detective Inspector Malone was killed earlier this year in Emmerdale, Harriet Finch has struggled to reconcile her sin with her religion. But now her worst fears are realised as the guilt from her past comes back to haunt her when a local mourner, Jean, begins the process to exhume her father, who's buried below.
With Will Taylor on side, the pair need to move Malone's body - and fast. But can they work quick enough to avoid being found out? And where will they put his body?
Elsewhere Rhona Goskirk wants to make amends with Laurel Thomas following their row, but Laurel is in a dark place and needs her family's support.
Meanwhile, Ellis Chapman and Marlon Dingle are convinced that Billy Fletcher is dealing and launch their own investigation, and Dan Spencer is left a surprise gift from an anonymous sender.
CHECK OUT: Emmerdale Monday 14 - Friday 18 December
Following their argument, Rhona tracks down a devastated Laurel in the playground to apologise for the things she said in the heat of the moment.
But it's a sad time for Laurel and Jai with the weight of their decision weighing heavily on them both, and Laurel makes an admission.
Arriving back at Mulberry, Laurel breaks the news to Gabby and Arthur that she's not going ahead with the pregnancy and Gabby explains to Arthur they need to support her.
Over at the churchyard Wendy tracks down Jean and tries again to convince her not to exhume her dad, but Jean's mind is made up.
Later on Will comes by for an update and Harriet tells him that there's no chance Jean is changing her mind and they have to move the body - and fast.
His mind spinning into action, Will tells Harriet they should dig up Malone and bury his corpse in a secluded spot on Home Farm.
The next day, Harriet has to deliver a carol service at the church but her mind is distracted as she worries what Will is up to.
Meanwhile, over at Home Farm, Will sets to work with digging a new grave for Malone as darkness falls, but can he work quick enough to avoid being seen?
Elsewhere, Ellis and Marlon spot Billy heading out on what looks like it could be a drugs deal and decide to follow him to a house on the corner of town.
Keeping out of sight, they watch as Billy seems to swap a package for cash and later at the Woolpack Ellis wonders how he'll confront his brother.
Meanwhile, Priya has been growing increasingly concerned about Al's strange behaviour and Ellis is forced to explain that his dad hates Christmas.
Elsewhere, after a frosty few weeks relations start to thaw between Victoria and Wendy and Victoria wants to know what she's doing for Christmas.
Caught off guard Wendy is delighted when Victoria suggests they spend this Christmas together, and Bob tries his best to look pleased.
But Bob is secretly disappointed at the turn of events as he'd been hoping to spend Christmas alone with Wendy. Can they find a happy compromise?
Elsewhere, Mackenzie's interest is piqued when he hears Jimmy get a rollicking from Kim about a late haulage delivery and nicks Jimmy's keys.
Later on Jimmy quickly descends into panic when he realises his keys are missing but it soon dawns on him that Mack took them.
Meanwhile Charity is suspicious of why Mack is so interested in the late haulage and is determined to find out what he's up to.
Overwhelmed at work and not realising Mack is in possession of Jimmy's keys, Jamie decides to leave Mack in charge of Home Farm.
Making himself at home, Mack's stay is rudely interrupted by Kim who is furious to see what a mess Mackenzie has made in the house.
Elsewhere Dan and Amelia are surprised to find a Christmas Turkey left on their doorstep anonymously and struggle to think who the gift could be from.
But first, here's everything coming up on Emmerdale this week...
When Manpreet Sharma loses her phone and Rishi Sharma doesn't come home, Manpreet fears the worst and immediately heads out on a search party with her estranged sister Meena Jutla.
But when Meena plays the hero and manages to revive Rishi and effectively save his life, Rishi is full of gratitude and Manpreet is forced to admit she may have judged Meena too harshly.
But is all as it seems?
Elsewhere, Harriet Finch is horrified when she sees someone at the spot where D.I Malone is buried. She soon learns the woman, Jean, is visiting the grave of her father, who's buried in the same spot, and is planning on exhuming him. What does this mean for Harriet?
Laurel Thomas and Jai Sharma's fears are confirmed but there's worse to come when it transpires their kids have found out about their pregnancy. Elsewhere Marlon Dingle and Paddy Kirk have a wedding to plan.
