Emmerdale spoilers: Paul Ashdale tightens his grip on the Dingles
As he and Mandy Dingle prepare to marry
Paul Ashdale has been earning his stripes as one of Emmerdale's nastiest baddies and he's about to get his hooks into the Dingle clan as he prepares to wed Mandy Dingle.
As the pieces fall into place for Liv Flaherty, she's desperate to save her friend Vinny Dingle but could she have done more harm than good?
And will Mandy Dingle ever learn the truth?
Elsewhere, Jimmy King is livid to learn that Juliette Holliday's meddling has messed up yet another business deal for them.
In the ensuing chaos, Nicola King takes a job with Mackenzie Boyd and it's soon clear she's out of her depth when she gets in trouble with Juliette's private inspector.
This week will see a series of special episodes air on Emmerdale opening with a flashforward to a 999 call. Each episode will follow a different villager in the preceding hours to the call, but the week will end in tragedy for one...
CHECK OUT: Emmerdale Monday 19 March - Friday 2 April:
It's the day of Paul and Mandy's wedding and Aaron tells Paul to meet him at the Dingle's for a 'pre wedding surprise'. When Paul arrives, Aaron has got Connor bound and gagged and with a menacing glint in his eye, Paul tells Aaron to leave him alone with Connor...
Later on, Liv passes Connor and noticing him looking startled, wants to know what happened. What Connor tells Liv leaves her chilled, the pieces falling into place. Liv tracks down Aaron and tells him they need to convince Vinny to tell the truth about Paul.
At the pub, Mandy is preparing for her big day but can feel something isn't right. As she wonders where her son and husband to be are, she's unaware that Vinny is once getting the blunt end of his dad's bad mood.
After Liv confronted Paul about his violence, it's clear he's seething and while Liv manages to get away unscathed, Paul ends up taking his fury out on his son. Has Liv put her friend in even more danger?
Elsewhere, Jimmy is gutted to realise that Juliette has once again scuppered a business deal for them, meaning they're seriously low on cash to cover their legal costs for Carl.
Eager to find a solution, Nicola reaches out to Mack who is only too happy to offer her some work, while Nicola is wary of asking about the details, knowing he's probably up to no good.
Later Jimmy is having a rest in his van on a layby when he takes a call from a panicked Mack, saying Nicola is in trouble with Julietter's private investigator. Speeding off to his wife's aid, Jimmy skids on a corner and is momentarily blinded by the light in his eyes as he loses control of the van...
But first, here's everything coming up on Emmerdale this week...
With Vinny Dingle holed up in the hospital, Liv Flaherty reports his 'accident' to the police but Vinny thinks better of telling them what happened when he sees Paul Ashdale watching him.
Paul is livid at Liv's meddling and demands that Vinny get her off the scent - or else. What will Vinny do?
Elsewhere, Will Taylor is desperate to keep his arrangement with Harriet Finch under wraps and resorts to drastic measures when Kim Tate turns up and becomes suspicious.
Aaron Dingle is once again intrigued by Mackenzie Boyd's 'business plan' but it soon becomes clear that it's just another dodgy dealing.
Jimmy King worries about the anonymous negative reviews popping up online, Faith Dingle wants to make an impression and Andrea Tate makes her demands for the divorce settlement.
Three guesses who isn't on board...
