Three recruits managed to pass the tough course
Last updated 26th Aug 2025
Following the successful series in 2024, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returned for a seventh series earlier this month, with 14 famous names signing up for the brutal challenge show, which was filmed in Wales last year.
After the eight brutal episodes, the final took place on Monday 25th August, so here's everything you need to know about Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins series seven, including who took part, who quit the show, and which celebs passed the course.
When did it start?
The brand new series started at 9pm on Sunday 3rd August.
When was it on TV?
Over eight episodes, the series aired every Sunday and Monday night at 9pm.
When was the final?
The final two episodes will air on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th August.
Who was eliminated in the final?
Five celebs made it to the final, including Bimini, Adam Collard, Michaella McCollum, Lucy Spraggan and Troy Deeney.
During the last episode, which saw solo interrogation for the final five recruits, former Love Island star Adam Collard handed in his number and chose to voluntarily withdraw. Drag star Bimini also narrowly missed out, being eliminated by the staff after failing the interrogation.
Who won?
Troy Deeney, Lucy Spraggan and Michaella McCollum all successful passed the course to win the show.
Chief instructor Billy Billingham said: “This course is designed to push you through barriers you would never imagine. To strip you back, physically, mentally and emotionally. This course is brutal. Our world is brutal. It will always come down to one question that we will ask ourselves. Would we have that person stood next to us.
"Number 3, 4 and 10. Congratulations, you have all passed this course. Well done. Seriously guys, good effort, that was a tough, tough course.”
Speaking about passing the course, Troy Deeney said: “What an experience! When I saw it was just me, Lucy and Michaella, I thought we were the ones who hadn’t made it. What a relief! Unusual word, but cathartic, that’s how I’d sum it up. Brilliantly mind-boggling. I’d recommend it for everyone. But you have to go in curious. Are you curious about who you are? Are you able to go in free and take instructions? At the very start, hoods off, stood on a pier, waves crashing, rain, DS Billy looking at you like he’ll kill you. That’s when you’d quit if you didn’t want to be there. That broke a few early. It didn’t break me.”
Former X Factor star Lucy Spraggan added: “I couldn’t believe it, to pass, wow, incredible. I felt so emotional. It was about 9 million times worse than I thought it was going to be, and I thought it was going to be bad. I really did! It's utterly traumatising, but unbelievably rewarding. It’s a once in a lifetime thing because I will never do that again!”
Author Michaella McCollum then added: “I couldn’t believe it when they said I’d passed, I just started crying, we all did. I really surprised myself. I didn't expect that. I didn't have any intentions of making it to that point, so when I did, I was really proud. I was like, yes! Anyone thinking about doing it, 100 per cent do it. Forget about all the horrible and difficult stuff, those type of opportunities don't come very often in life. And you'll really get to see a completely different version of yourself, and the real, true you, which we disguise and we compress with everyday life, we forget who we really are, so do it!”

I wouldn't say I give up easily but whether I get to the end or not...I don't think I'll go on the first day because I just wouldn't forgive myself."
However, it all got too tough for Hannah, with her saying to the instructors: "Sorry - I'm done. Sorry. I've reached a point."
Professional dancer Louie Spence was the second celeb to voluntary withdraw from the course, telling instructor Chris Fox: "I wanna do an immediate withdrawal. I just don't have the conviction and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough."
Although he was given the chance to put his armband back on, Louie refused and was told to get his kit and leave.
Episode two:
During the second episode on Monday 4th August, two more celebs found the course too tough, choosing to voluntary withdraw.
After the second day of filming in Wales, Love Island star Chloe Burrows emotionally admitted "I can't do it. I cannot. I'm done and done." Handing over her armband, she added: "It was too much", before calling it the worst thing she's done in her life.
Following Chloe was another Love Island star, Tasha Ghouri. Speaking to the staff, the former Strictly winner said: "I'm not mentally here. I'm not mentally here to do this."
Speaking to the camera after her exit scenes aired, Tasha said: "I would say my mental strength is stronger than my physical strength," she said. "If my body is about to fail, I have to remember, Tasha, you still gave it a go. You tried your hardest."

Mark Billingham said: "It's a medical withdrawal, you have no control over this. You had a great journey."
Despite Connor asking: "What if it's fine?", Mark said: "It aint' fine. It ain't worth the f---ing damage mate."
Episode seven:
No eliminations took place during the penultimate episode.

Commenting on this year’s group of celebrity recruits, Chief Instructor, Billy said ahead of the show: “This course is not an attendance course, the bar is set high and will not waiver. Every recruit is a volunteer who chose to step into our arena. Although many will start, very few will finish and even less will pass. This is not for the weak minded or faint hearted.”
DS Foxy said: "The world is now a complex and dangerous place with threats coming from all angles. Because of that, we as a country need to be ready. We want to show these celebrity recruits what it takes to prepare for war, but do they have what it takes, far away from their privileged lives?”
DS Rudy commented: “SAS: Who Dares Wins is brutal, revealing and a testament to human perseverance. Punishing elements, relentless pace, and standards that make war fighters proud to give these recruits a hard reset to find their true self. And in that truth, an insight into the human experience for us all.”
DS Chris added: “This isn’t just about physical strength; it’s about mental resilience too. The recruits will be pushed to their limits, both individually and as a unit. Trust in each other will be our greatest asset. When the waves are high and the wind is howling, they will need to rely
