The Script have been one of the most-loved bands since they first arrived on the scene way back in 2007, so we couldn't contain our excitement when they were added to the line-up of Hits Live Liverpool.

The popular band, made up of Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power, took to the stage at the M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool alongside Ed Sheeran, Mabel, Ella Henderson, Joel Corry, Becky Hill, Tom Grennan and Mimi Webb.

Next year, Hits Live will have THREE incredible shows as we head to Liverpool on the 20th May 2022, Manchester on the 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on the 12th November 2022. Buy tickets now for next year's shows.

Before taking to the stage, The Script chatted to Fleur East, James and Matt where lead singer Danny admitted to forgetting some of their songs' lyrics!

Explaining it was when they returned to the stage after a break due to the Covid restrictions, Danny said: "The first few gigs coming back though, after Covid. Were crazy. I was writing lyrics on my hands and everything!"

"It's not the first verse," Danny continued: "It's the second verse. It's the cheeky second verse. If you see me put the mic out like this, it means I totally forgot my part."

Oh Danny! 🙈

Of course, The Script gave an amazing performance in Liverpool and they will be returning to the city next year on their tour.
