A number of reports have suggested this morning that this year's BRITs host Michael Bublé has decided to pull out of the annual award show due to his son's illness.
Last October the Canadian singer was announced as the new host of the 2017 BRIT Awards, taking over from Ant and Dec who have hosted it for two years on the trot.
However just a month later Michael's three-year-old son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer and in November Michael made a statement on Facebook saying,
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US."
Going on to say,
"Luisana his wife and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well."
Reports from a national newspaper say the singer has told bosses he needs to focus on saving Noah's life and producers are fully understanding of his situation.
The BRITs takes place in London on the 22nd February, including performances from Little Mix and Emeli Sandé.
At present there is no official statement from the BRITs.
