Joel Corry reveals what's in store for his Hits Live performance
He's got a treat for us in Liverpool
We're now just a few weeks away from Hits Live, which will be taking place on 26th May in Liverpool, and joining the stellar line-up this year will be Joel Corry.
The fantastic 'Lionheart (Fearless)' DJ joined Fleur East, James and Matt recently to talk to them about what we can expect from his performance on the night, whether he will be releasing an album any time soon and if there could be a collab on the horizon.
Talking about missing last year's Hits Live, Joel revealed: "I'm so excited man... Hits Live is always one of the biggest nights of the year, and I'm back! Bigger and better than ever, I'm going to bring the energy as always. I can't wait man, bring it on!"
The DJ went on to reveal that he would be coming back with "new bangers", as well as: "New production, new show, new special mash-ups for you guys. It's just going to be like an ultimate set of power. It's just going to go off man, I can't wait!"

Tom Grennan
This announcement's Not Over Yet! Tom Grennan's bringing his biggest hits to Liverpool for All These Nights (technically speaking, it's just one night).
When Joel was asked by Fleur: "What is your favourite song to perform?" He admitted that it was a hard one to decide, revealing: "I always love MNEK 'Head & Heart', or Tom Grennan, because when we do 'Lionheart' together oh my god like he... I've never seen anyone bring so much energy to the stage than Tom Grennan so... and of course Becky Hill as well, like 'History'. When we perform 'History' together we always have such a great time."
With so many bangers under his belt, Matt then asked about new music, and if there were any collabs, when Joel revealed that Nathan Dawe was his "boy", and they're good mates. So, when Matt asked about the possibility of a collab called Corry Dawe, he didn't write it off!
"One day," Joel explained: "We have talked about doing a collab together, and I just thought, maybe the project could be called Corry Dawe, like you just said. That is actually pretty sick."
Going on to joke that he thought Matt should be in it as well, he said: "Maybe we could debut this at Hits Live?!"
And that wasn't the only potential collab... When the team quizzed him on recently being spotted with fellow Hits Live performer Zara Larsson, he was asked if they're working together, and his response was: "Zara's wicked, no comment".
He went on to say it was great to hang out with her in Miami, and all of her fans have been messaging him. So could something be about to happen? 👀 We certainly hope so!
Is Joel Corry going to release an album?
Yes, Joel is planning to release an album, he hasn't revealed when yet, but he said he had a meeting with his label about releasing one: "Hopefully later this year". He also revealed he has loads of new music coming, starting THIS MONTH!
And he's already announced a new song with with Caity Baser, called 'Dance Around It', released on 12th May.

He said, "It's honestly been the most incredible Summer, I've been DJing in resorts like Zante, Malia, Managua, Ibiza, and it's been such a buzz because the tune has been massive out there. There's been loads of highlights over the Summer really, Ibiza is amazing, it's my favourite place in the world, so to watch it go off over the has just been incredible."
2020: Joel Corry releases 'Lonely'
'Lonely' was released on 24th January 2020 and it has been very successful for Joel.
'Lonely' reached Number 4 in the UK charts, the single has also been certified Gold in the UK moving 400,000 units!
It has also had more than 10 million views on YouTube since it was released in January 2020.

During the lockdown we've all had to practice social-distancing, however in Germany they held a car rave for those who were missing a night out. Here Joel's song 'Lonely' got the crowd going.

In May 2023, Joel and Caity released their banger 'Dance Around It'. Speaking about the release of his song, Joel said: "'Dance Around It' has been killing it in my club sets. Working with Caity on this record has been so much fun, she's really talented and I love her energy. The track feels super fresh and it really shows off Caity's personality. I'm buzzing to 'Dance Around It' all summer!"
2023: '0800 Heaven' with Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson
Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson released their banger '0800 Heaven' back in June 2023, followed by an acoustic version a month later. The trio's song was written by Nathan and Ella, with Ella telling us: "This has happened very, very fast. The next thing you know he's (Nathan) sent it to Joel, Joel rings me and he's like, 'I want to come on it, we've got to do it together', and then, here we are, it's happening! So, we're absolutely buzzing.
"It is a really fun record," she continued.
