Glastonbury might have already sold out, but that hasn't stopped them announcing a stellar line-up for the 2024 festival. Following their initial announcement back in March, which included the likes of Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and Shania Twain, they have now announced acts for the Field of Avalon.
The Field of Avalon is described by the festival as 'an island in the sea of Glastonbury', the field features the Avalon Stage and Avalon Cafe, with a diverse line-up of musicians, artists and 'fellow pilgrims'.
And the festival have now added 'Dance Around It' singer Caity Baser, All Saints singer Shaznay Lewis, and The Feeling, amongst others, to the line-up.
The festival initally took to social media on 14th March to reveal many performers for the 2024 festival, revealing that they still have 'many more acts and attractions still to be announced'.
This year will see Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and Paloma Faith take to the iconic Pyramid Stage, with Shania Twain performing in the Legends slot.
On the Other Stage festival goers will have the chance to see Disclosure, Anne-Marie, Camila Cabello, Avril Lavigne and winners of The BRITs Rising Star award, The Last Dinner Party.
Elsewhere on the festival line-up are dance legends Faithless, and Peggy Gou, known for her huge hit '(It Goes Like) Nanana'.
On the day Dua Lipa announced her third album 'Radical Optimism', she wrote on Instagram: "I have dreamt of this moment all my life. Something that lived only in my wildest dreams and highest manifestations!!!
"I am so excited to see you all in my favourite place on earth and make it a night to remember!!"
In a statement, the festival also said: "Dua Lipa makes her Pyramid Stage debut as our Friday night headliner, on a Friday bill also featuring Glastonbury veterans LCD Soundsystem and PJ Harvey.
"Coldplay will make their first Pyramid Stage appearance since 2016 on the Saturday night, with the only European festival appearance of their record-breaking current world tour, in the process beating their previous joint headliner record (with The Cure) and becoming the first act to headline Glastonbury five times."
Over the last few months there have been many rumours around whether the Spice Girls will be announced for the festival, with Mel B teasing some really good news with all five members. However, at present nothing has been confirmed by the band, or the festival.
Glastonbury takes place 26th - 30th June 2024, at Worthy Farm in Somerset, where it has been held since it started back in 1970.
