Ed Sheeran reveals unusual 'guest star' in his new Christmas video

Following his EPIC comeback to music earlier this year, which included the release of hit singles 'Bad Habits', 'Shivers', and 'Overpass Graffiti', as well as his huge new album '=', the lovely Ed Sheeran joined us at Hits Live Liverpool on Friday 19th November!

Ed delighted the sold-out crowd as he took to the stage to perform some of his biggest hits, alongside a plethora of artists including The Script, Mimi Webb, Mabel, Becky Hill, Joel Corry, Tom Grennan and Ella Henderson.

Before his big performance, 30-year-old Ed joined Fleur, James and Matt backstage where he split the beans on his upcoming Christmas song with the one and only Sir Elton John.

As well as exclusively confirming which classic videos he's parodied in the upcoming music video, Ed also revealed to us there's a very special 'guest star' involved... MR BLOBBY!

Ed explained to Fleur, James and Matt his team tried to get the original Mr Blobby suit from the 90s, but due to it all rotting and decaying, they ended up using the next best thing... A Mr Blobby outfit!

After confirming to us his new Christmas single with Sir Elton John will arrive in two weeks time, we can't wait to see the music video following Ed's confirmation that the pair have parodied classic Christmas videos from East 17, Shakin' Stevens and The Snowman.

As well as making new Christmas hits, earlier this year Ed announced a massive World Tour where he will perform at stadiums across the UK between May-July in 2022, as well as shows across Ireland, Central Europe and Scandinavia.

The global popstar delighted fans by dropping his fourth studio album on Friday 29th October, including hit singles 'Visiting Hours' and 'Bad Habits.
