The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard took place on Saturday 2nd March, as the biggest ceremony in British music hit The O2 Arena in London. With Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kept on hosting duties, some of nation's favourite artists attended the prestigious ceremony.
After the red carpet earlier in the night, the likes of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, RAYE, Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, and Jungle took to the stage to perform, before this year's awards were handed out to the lucky winners.
Who won a BRIT Award in 2024?
A few awards were announced before the show, Kylie Minogue was given the award of BRITs Global Icon prior to the event, and it was announced that The Last Dinner Party had won this year's BRITs Rising Star Award. RAYE was also awarded with BRITs Songwriter of the Year, whilst Chase & Status won BRITs Producer of the Year.
After being nominated for a huge seven awards, RAYE stole the show by picking up five on the night, including Best New Artist, Best R&B Act, Song of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Other awards went to SZA, Bring me the Horizon, Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa!

This year's fancy BRITs trophy was designed by acclaimed visual artist and painter Rachel Jones.
Speaking about her excitement, Rachel said: “There’s such a major legacy around the position of being asked to design the award, so it was a huge honour to be chosen for this year. Designing the award is especially exciting because people will be able to see my interest in working with other mediums.
“I work really intuitively so there weren’t any plans or sketches. It was a similar process to how I make paintings, which are always in layers. I worked from the base up, I covered up to the chest in a variety of colours and then I started to focus on how to develop certain patterns, textures and colour combinations. From there I was able to figure out where I wanted certain areas of density or space and things started to fall into place.
“I feel like it’s my voice in the form of a trophy, it’s colourful and chaotic, and this was really important because all the other trophies were so distinctive, and you know immediately who made them. I’m really happy that what we’ve ended up with is a reflection of my visual language."
