Fans of reality TV star Paris Hilton were over the moon when news broke that the 40-year-old was expecting her first child with her fiancé Carter Reum, but it appears not all is as it seems!

Paris, who announced her engagement to Carter in February this year, was forced to deny rumours that started swirling around the internet yesterday (Tuesday 28th July), with Kim Kardashian's BFF admitting she woke up to thousands of messages.

Speaking on her popular This Is Paris Podcast, the former Simple Life star admitted: "I woke up to about 3,000 texts. All my iPhones are blowing up — all five of them — with everyone wishing me congratulations and so happy for me.

“I’ve heard from people I haven’t heard from in years.”

But after jokingly revealing she's pregnant with triplets, Paris later said: “Actually, I’m just kidding. I am not pregnant – not yet. I am waiting until after the wedding. My dress is being made right now so I want to make sure it looks gorgeous and fits perfectly so definitely waiting for that part.”

News that Paris was expecting her first baby arrived on Tuesday afternoon, when a source told Page Six the couple had been undergoing IVF treatment.
