Millie is 21-years-old, having been born on 19th February 2004.
What is her real name?
Millie was actually born Millie Bonnie Brown, but uses the stage name Bobby as a middle name.
Where is she from?
Millie was born in Spain to British parents, but moved to England, to live in Bournemouth, at the age of four. Then, four years later, she relocated again, this time to Florida!
Who is Millie's husband?
Millie married Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi in a lavish ceremony in Italy in May 2024. In a very sweet turn of events, the intimate wedding was officiated by Stranger Things castmate, and Eleven's Papa, Matthew Modine.
Does she have children?
Yes! Millie and Jake adopted a little girl in 2025. They announced the news on Instagram in August, writing: 'This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.
'We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love Millie and Jake Bongiovi.'
How old was Millie Bobby Brown in Stranger Things?
In the first season of Stranger Things, actress Millie was just 11-years-old. In series 2 she was 13, series 3 she was 15 and in the most recent series in 2022, Millie was 18-years-old.
When filming the upcoming fifth and final series of Stranger Things — nine years after the first — Millie was 20!

Modern Family
In 2014, at the age of just 11, Millie appeared in season 6 of sitcom, Modern Family. The scene lasted just a few seconds, and saw Manny steal her bike as she cycled down the road. After Manny promised to return it, she shouts: "But that's what you said about my mum's humidifier!"
Grey's Anatomy
A year later, Millie starred in one episode of hospital drama, Grey's Anatomy. She played youngster Ruby, who had to provide medical assistance to her own mother following an earthquake.
Stranger Things
Millie's big break came in 2016, at the age of just 12, when she was cast as young Eleven in sci-fi drama, Stranger Things. Her character was revealed to have telepathic powers, after being discovered in a small (fictional) town in the US called Hawkins. Millie has appeared in all four series of the show, between 2016 and 2022, and is set to appear in the upcoming fifth and final season, which is due out on 26th November, arriving in three parts.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong
In 2019, Millie starred in Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Madison Russell, the daughter of scientists, Drs. Emma and Mark Russell (Vera Farmiga and Kyle Chandler). The movie also featured famous faces Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid's Tale), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) and Sally Hawkins (Paddington/Wonka) Two years later, she returned for the follow up movie Godzilla vs. Kong, which was a major success at the box office, setting a new record for cinematic films post-pandemic.
Enola Holmes
In 2020, Millie starred in the first of a series of movies based on the Enola Holmes adventure books, along Henry Cavill (as Sherlock Holmes), Louis Partridge (Tewkesbury) and Helena Bonham-Carter (Eudoria Holmes). Starring as Enola herself, Millie was 15-years-old when she was cast. She went on to star in the sequel in 2022, while a third is now in production.
Damsel
In 2024, we saw Millie star in dark fantasy movie Damsel, where she played a young woman who is tricked into repaying an age-old debt after accepting a marriage proposal. The Netflix film sees Elodie (Millie Bobby Brown) attempt to evade fire-breathing dragons while trying to escape the dark labyrinth in which she's trapped.
The Electric State
Most recently, Millie has starred in 2025 Netflix film, The Electric State. Featuring esteemed actors Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci and Chris Pratt, the movie follows Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) as she heads on a mission to find her brother, accompanied his beloved robot.

Millie is reported to live in Georgia, USA, which is primarily where Stranger Things has been filmed. She is also believed to have property here in the UK, where her parents originate from.
