Hits Radio's very own Gethin Jones 'announced' for 'Celebrity Love Island'

As the entire nation sits twiddling its thumbs, anxiously waiting for June to roll around so Love Island 2019 can FINALLY START, ITV has 'announced' a star-studded spin-off set to air this autumn and it includes our very own Hits Radio breakfast show presenter, Gethin Jones!
Hosted by Caroline Flack, Celebrity Love Island will take the show - which first aired in 2005 - back to its roots and invite a bunch of famous faces to the villa straight after our annual summer series.

Hits Radio's Gethin Jones
Hits Radio breakfast host Gethin Jones couldn't be more excited to head into the world's most famous villa. The really-quite-aethetically-pleasing Welshman says: "I'm going on Celebrity Love Island for one reason only; to find the one. Who's to say I won't find my dream girl in there?"

Sam Thompson
He's tried his luck on Celebs Go Dating twice; and now Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson's hoping it'll be third time lucky on Celebrity Love Island. Describing his dream date, Sam says he's looking for someone 'geeky, bubbly and a bit of a laugh.' Will he find that in the villa?
Lewis Capaldi
Someone You Loved and Hits Radio Live Birmingham artist Lewis Capaldi's an absolute social media sensation who's hoping his charm will help him find love in Majorca. "I want someone I can serenade in the Spanish sun," he says. Cute.

Calum Best
Calum originally starred in the 2005 series of Celebrity Love Island and - like Sam - gave Celebs Go Dating a bash. He's on the lookout for someone 'blonde, adventurous and deep.'
