With over 14 million subscribers, many people may know KSI as a gamer on YouTube, but he has more recently turned his attention to music. The YouTuber/rapper released his second album 'All Over the Place' in July 2021, and joined us at Hits Live Birmingham on 20th November to perform some of his latest tracks.

Also performing on the night were Anne-Marie, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, Dermot Kennedy, Years & Years, Rag'n'Bone Man, James Arthur and The Wanted, and it was an amazing night! Next year Hits Live will have THREE incredible shows as we head to Liverpool on 20th May 2022, Manchester on 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on 12th November 2022. Find out how to get tickets here.

KSI chatted to us about how he balances YouTube and his music: "I kind of like everything. So I still like doing YouTube. I still post YouTube videos as well as doing the music. I still train as well for boxing, so for me I like just doing it all.

"I thought that was kind of the best way to be, personally anyway. Nothing ever gets boring essentially, because I'm always just mixing it up."

KSI reached a new level of fame when he started making music and talked about the changes he noticed: "I think when I started getting recognised in front of people, in real life, I mean that’s when I was like, 'oh okay this is like beyond just online'.

"I remember the first time I got recognised was at a Watford game and literally this kid came up to me like, 'are you KSI?' and I was like, 'who wants to know man?'. He was like, 'no I’m a massive fan' and I was like, 'oh right, okay'. I was just so confused and then over time this happened more and more and more and then now it’s every time I walk outside."

Since getting used to being stopped by fans, KSI tries to make time for them: "I know they're fans and I know how much I can make their day with me just taking a photo with them. So I was like, yeah, why not."
