Ollie Locke reveals his twins' Made In Chelsea godmother

After three years of trying to start a family, Made In Chelsea stars Ollie and Gareth Locke delighted fans earlier this year, by announcing they are expecting twins via a surrogate. Now, the reality star has added to the joy by revealing their godmother will be a fellow MIC cast member!

Sharing a snap to Instagram alongside his bestie Sophie Hermann, who joined Made In Chelsea in 2013, Ollie wrote: 'Perfect when we make you buy flights to be with us around the world to make us laugh and drink tequila! We love you @sophiehermann #godmother X'. (sic)

Delighted with the 'godmother' hashtag, many fans took to the comments to share the love, with one writing: 'Fab choice - Fab friendship ❤️' (sic), and another gushing: 'Sophie you’re an absolute darling! So much class… ensure the little girly twin follows in your footsteps. X' (sic)

Shortly after sharing their happy news that they are expecting, the married couple shared the gender of their unborn twins, revealing to HELLO! Magazine they will be welcoming one boy and one girl.

Speaking to the publication, Gareth said: "As we get towards the finish line, it's become very much more real. It felt like our lives were on hold but now it feels like we're moving forward. The babies coming along has reinvigorated everything."

Ollie and Gareth announced the news they were expecting twins in February this year, after discovering their surrogate Bex Ward was pregnant.

Sharing a video, which documented baby scans and FaceTime calls with Bex, Ollie and Gareth wrote on social media: 'We are beyond delighted to finally be able to share the news that we are expecting twin baby Locke-Locke’s into the world this summer!

'You have all been so wonderful throughout the last 3 years of us trying to have a family and we promise to share every step of this adventure with you all. For all those on their own journey to become parents we are with you and sending all the baby dust your way! Thank you to our sensational surrogate @bex7ward for being the most incredible human, the love we have for you and your family is just another level! Xx'. (sic)

Reality TV and soap star Stephanie Davis announced the lovely news in August that she's expecting her first baby with her boyfriend Joe McKalroy. Steph confirmed the news during an interview with OK! Magazine, where she confirmed the couple had been trying to conceive for two years, and had thought about IVF, before she fell pregnant naturally.


Steph is already a proud mum to her son Caben from a previous relationship with Jeremy McConnell.

Lucy Fallon

Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon announced in August that she's expecting her second child with her partner Ryan Ledson. Lucy shared the exciting news on Instagram, announcing she's 20 weeks pregnant on 19th August. The couple are already proud parents to one-year-old son Sonny Jude.

Charlotte Dawson

Just weeks after discovering her husband Matthew Sarsfield had been sending inappropriate messages to another woman, reality star Charlotte Dawson announced the news she's expecting her third child. Reality star Charlotte Crosby announced in September she's expecting her second child with her fiancé Jake Ankers. The couple are already proud parents to their daughter Alba Jean. Charlotte and Jake announced their lovely news with a cute video on Instagram.

Lacey Turner

EastEnders actress Lacey Turner announced at the end of September that she's expecting her third child with her husband Matt Kay. Lacey shared the news on her Instagram page, posting a photo of her two kids holding a baby scan. She wrote: 'Aren't we lucky …..'. (sic)

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli MozzI

Princess Beatrice announced at the start of October she's expecting her second child with her husband Edoardo Mapelli MozzI. In a statement Buckingham Palace said: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.


Edoardo is also a proud dad to his eight-year-old son Wolfie.

Oritsé and Kazz Williams

JLS singer Oritsé Williams and his wife Kazz announced in October they are expecting their first child together.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her second child with her husband Cooke Maroney, with the pair already sharing their two-year-old son, Cy. The news was confirmed to Vogue in October by a representative for the actor.

Sophie Hinchliffe (Mrs Hinch)

Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, announced at the start of November that she's expecting her third child with her husband Jamie. The influencer shared the news on social media, writing: "Heaven was too far to visit, so you sent us a special gift from up above. On 11th November, Megan Fox announced she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. The actress is already a proud mum to three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. Machine Gun Kelly is also a proud dad to his daughter Casie, with his ex-partner Emma Cannon.

Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria

After welcoming their baby girl Beau in October 2022 and getting married for real during Christmas 2023, Married At First Sight 2021 stars Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria announced in November 2024 that they are expecting their second child together!

Arabella Chi

Love Island star and model Arabella Chi announced in early December that she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend Billy Henty. Arabella announced she's due in May 2025.

Joss Stone

In December 2024, singer Joss Stone revealed she was expecting her fourth child, just weeks after adopting a newborn. Saying in the post 'shocked is an understatement', she told fans... Ollie and Gareth got married in 2020, and have been open about their attempts to start a family ever since. Over the last three years, the pair have sadly experienced baby loss more than once.

Parts of the pair's struggles with IVF were documented on Made In Chelsea, with Ollie opening up about the matter on the Bali special spin-off. He said: "We just can't believe it's happened again."

Gareth then added: "This is our third time. Every time it's like... 'Oh well next time surely it's going to happen.' It feels like every time you're going to have to redo it, it just feels like it's a bit, a step further away

"Obviously we're in a very fortunate position, we can go again. But you know it's not, it's not easy."

At the end of 2020, Ollie and Gareth tied the knot in a small ceremony, which took place in the Natural History Museum in London. The ceremony took place in front of just 13 guests, including bridesmaids and MIC co-stars Binky Felstead and Olivia Bentley.

Celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary in November 2022, Ollie shared a gorgeous photo from the ceremony, writing: '2 years ago we walked down the steps of the natural history museum and got married in front of only 13 people, but watched on TV by 3.5 million people becoming the highest watched wedding worldwide of 2020!

'We haven’t yet managed to have a party with everyone, but we will and hopefully with a baby in tow! Thank you for making me laugh everyday! Xx'. (sic)
