Heartbroken Gabby Allen has broken her silence after her Love Island boyfriend Marcel Somerville was accused of 'cheating' on her whilst the pair were on holiday in Mexico in February.
The shocking news, which broke earlier this week, revealed text messages from Marcel to another girl asking her for 'day sex' whilst Gabby worked out at the hotel gym.
After previously deleting all trace of Marcel from her social media, Gabby has now thanked fans in an emotional statement posted to both Twitter and her Instagram Story. She wrote, 'Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, love and support. It's been a tough couple of days, i think i might be in a bit of shock! But i'm sure in time i will be ok. i have the best family and friends around me. I'm a lucky girl.' sic
After sharing the message, Gabby's friends and fans were quick to show her further support.
Love Island season two star Olivia Buckland wrote, 'My little angel pie. Mykonos soon xxxxxx', with a fan adding, 'I’ve just been through a similar thing 8 weeks ago hun after being married for 13 years. We both deserve better. Time to put yourself 1st 👍'. sic
Another then added, 'Am i hearing right. @marcel_rockyb cheated on you ? What the hell you two were so happy and loved up why would he want to ruin things ? This is so sad . Why are all couples from love island splitting up . Only camilla n jamie together. I hope.your ok gabs. Big hugs xxx'. sic
