Cheryl's fans have gone into complete MELTDOWN today (Monday 5th November) as the singer has DELETED all of her Instagram photos, including her profile picture, and UNFOLLOWED everybody, as well as her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne.

As well as this, the former X Factor judge has changed her bio to read '#LoveMadeMeDoIt', the name of her upcoming brand new single!

Of course deleting trace of everything on social media has become a popular way to promote new music for artists.

Taylor Swift famously removed everything from her account ahead of the release of her single 'Look What You Made Me Do', and One Direction singer Liam Payne also used a similar technique earlier this year.

Cheryl, who is performing in Manchester on Sunday 25th November, also took to Twitter to share loads of butterfly emojis.

One user wrote, 'Literally sitting here refreshing Cheryl's Instagram every micro second', with another adding, 'Non stop refreshing my feed on here and instagram #LoveMadeMeDoIt'. sic

Another then took to Twitter to write, 'I am super curious to see what Cheryl’s planning and the kind of promo she’s come up with. The whole Instagram business has got me even more excited and I’m hopeful that #LoveMadeMeDoIt is about to drop. Midnight? Please?' sic

Cheryl's Instagram movement comes just weeks before she's due to make her return when she performs at Hits Live in Manchester on Sunday 25th November. Cheryl will be performing some of her biggest hits in what will be her first live performance since she performed 'Crazy Stupid Love' on Britain's Got Talent in 2014.
