Love Island's Ciaran Davies breaks silence on Samie Elishi split
AND those Tyrique Hyde rumours...
They were only crowned the new All Stars King and Queen a matter of weeks ago, but Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies didn't get their fairytale ending, with the Love Island couple going their separate ways earlier this month.
The pair, who were crowned the series three winners ahead of Millie Court and Zac Woodworth with 35.22% of the vote, have so far not spoken about their split... until now!
Appearing on Joe Baggs' Not My Bagg podcast, Welsh boy Ciaran confessed the break up was not mutual, as well as addressing recent rumours that Samie has something going on with former Islander Tyrique Hyde.
He said: ”From leaving the villa I went straight back to South Wales… Samie went straight to London. We were talking everyday, we would be on Facetime every night the communication was great – we set plans for meeting up with each other a week later.
“I knew she was busy, she was going to New York. Then the messages started to get very very distant. I felt the energy wasn’t being matched.”
Ciaran went on to explain he felt things were 'one-sided', before Samie called him to say “that was it.”
In recent weeks, rumours have been rife that Samie has enjoyed a number of dates with series 10 star Tyrique Hyde, something Ciaran wasn't shy in talking about.
Speaking to Joe, the 23-year-old said: “During the time before New York when we were seeing each other he sent flowers to her house and I found out maybe a day or two days ago.
“How he got the address I’ll never know. No I’m just getting made to look a fool.
“I’ve also come to find out that he unfollowed me the day before we split and the day after he did that post about Samie.”
Samie is yet to respond to Ciaran's comments, but she has now deleted all trace of Ciaran from her Instagram page, as well as unfollowing him.
Last week, commenting on the split for the first time, Samie joked she would return the £50,000 prize fund she received. Replying to a fan called Vina on Snapchat who asked: 'You giving back the 50k', Samie joked: 'lol yh Vina sent your banks deets babe'. (sic)
Samie and Ciaran's Love Island journey:
Welsh hunk and former winner Ciaran entered the Love Island: All Stars villa on Day One during the series, following his split from ex-girlfriend Nicole Samuel in December 2024.
Still only 23-years-old, Ciaran was paired with Millie Court by the public, but it wasn't until Samie arrived as a bombshell when things really heated up for him. After a date in the Secret Garden, the pair were getting on very well until the arrival of bombshell Lucinda Stafford, who chose to 'steal' Ciaran away from Samie.
Despite this, Ciaran and Samie were reunited during the fifth recoupling, with their romance growing stronger by the day, even making their romance exclusive.
During an interview in the final chat with host Maya Jama, Samie confirmed she couldn't wait for a trip to Wales, but it seems she's been non-stop with work commitments since the pair returned to the UK.
So, despite Samie looking like she'd found her Welsh Prince, it turns out things didn't work out for these two.
