Just weeks after reuniting with Demi Lovato for a rendition of Camp Rock track 'This Is Me' on her 2025 tour, the Jonas Brothers and Disney confirmed a third instalment of the movie franchise was in production in September.

Cling to that nostalgia, because Joe, Nick and Kevin are all returning as Connect 3 members Shane Gray, Nate Gray, and Jason Gray, with Demi Lovato joining them as executive producer.

In December last year, Disney+ shared the first teaser trailer, and now Disney have announced its release month. Here's everything we know so far about the hugely-anticipated threequel...

'Starring Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and welcoming new campers: Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, and Casey Trotter. Pack your bags and get ready to rock out for a summer you won't forget!'

Will Demi Lovato reprise her role?

It doesn’t look like Demi will reprise her role as Mitchie Torres, but she has been confirmed as an Executive Producer alongside Joe, Nick and Kevin.

On 29th September 2025, Demi shared a photo on set, sitting in a Director's Chair which featured her name and the words Executive Producer.

She captioned the shot with: 'this is me (in my producer era)'.

It seems fans are still holding out for a cameo from her. One wrote: ' 'Without Demi this makes no sense', with a second adding: 'Sorry but Camp Rock will never be the same without Demi Lovato'.

Another wrote: 'Love demi the producer. But queen, we all need Mitchie at least to say goodbye to our generation 😢😢😢'.

Somebody else added: 'We love and support you but we need Mitchie Torres' return.😭'.

What will the movie be about?

Disney say of Camp Rock 3: 'The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances. Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Segura) and her easygoing brother, Desi (Stone); cello prodigy Rosie (Pollack); drummer with his own beat Cliff (Trotter); choreo queen Callie (Pitts); intimidating influencer Madison (Jean); and camp bad boy Fletch (Barton)'.

Ayo Davis, President of Disney Branded Television said: “Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day. Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick, and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”

What songs will be on it?

At this stage there’s no information about what songs will feature on the third movie, but we imagine they’ll be original tracks.

The first two movies included bangers such as 'This Is Me', 'We Rock' and 'Gotta Find You'.
