Is RAYE releasing a new album?
Yes! RAYE's second album titled 'This Music May Contain Hope' is set to release on 27th March 2026.
At the 2026 BRIT Awards with Mastercard on 28th February, RAYE performed her hit song 'Where Is My Husband!' and new single 'Nightingale Lane'. The singer received two nominations at the BRIT Awards, Song of the Year with Mastercard and Pop Act - but was beaten by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean for Song of the Year, and by Olivia in the Pop Act category.
Speaking about performing at The BRITs, RAYE said: "We are so grateful to the BRIT Awards for having us back on their stage. Me and the band are very excited. Lots of love, RAYE." You can watch her live performance below!
During an interview on The Graham Norton Show in September 2025, the singer admitted the album wasn't finished at the point pre-order became available. She said: "I've kind of given myself a rough deadline, I would like to say the first third of next year, definitely the first half of next year."
Laughing, Graham said: "I thought it was done and you were just doing a little polishing," to which RAYE replied: "Oh no, no. Not at all." Fellow guest Emily Blunt asked whether she was still writing it now, and she confirmed she was: "It's a beautiful process, but it does take time."
In a statement from her label alongside the album details, RAYE said in January 2026: "Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world.
"I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it."
