Who won The BRITs Rising Star Award 2025?
Nominations for the 2025 BRITs Rising Star were announced on Tuesday 26th November, with Elmiene, Good Neighbours and Myles Smith all shortlisted.
On Thursday 5th December, it was announced that Myles Smith was the 2025 winner.
Myles Smith said of his nomination: “I’m incredibly honoured to be nominated for the BRITs Rising Star award. Growing up in Luton, I started playing pubs and open mic nights when I was just 12 and music quickly became my way of understanding the world and connecting with others. This recognition feels like a reflection of that journey – the highs, the challenges and the incredible people who’ve supported me along the way. Thank you for seeing me, for listening and for believing in the music. It means the world.”
On winning, Myles said: “Winning the BRIT award for Rising Star is such a surreal moment. Music has always been about connecting with people, and to see it resonate on this level is incredible. I’m so grateful to my team, my family, and especially the fans who’ve supported me every step of the way. Your belief in me means everything. This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited for what’s to come—thank you for being part of this journey.”
Who won the Global Success award?
On Monday 10th February it was announced the 'Please, Please, Please' singer Sabrina Carpenter would be awarded with the prestigious Global Success award at this year's BRIT Awards.
Sabrina, who will also be performing on the night, has become the first international artist to receive it following a decision by the BRITs Committee to open the award up to overseas artists.
Who won the Producer of the Year award?
On Tuesday 25th February, A. G. Cook was announced as this year's Producer of the Year. Having worked with artists such as SOPHIE and Charli XCX, A. G. Cook has 'reshaped the landscape of pop music over the past decade with his wild experimentation and innovative production'.
A. G. Cook commented: “As someone who’s always felt like a bit of an outsider, I’m very flattered to be recognised by The BRITs. From the early PC Music days to the Charli mixtapes and beyond. I’ve been lucky to work on so much music that I truly believe in. In particular, I’d like to dedicate this moment to SOPHIE, whose vision and artistry is still a driving force for producers everywhere.”
Who won Songwriter of the Year?
News was announced on Wednesday 26th February that five-time nominated Charli xcx has won The BRITs Songwriter of the Year award. The award recognises exceptional songwriting talent and is decided by a select panel of expert judges.
Previous winners of the award include Ed Sheeran, Kid Harpoon, and RAYE.
Damian Christian, Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025 said: "Charli has had an undeniable year, taking her experimental brand of electronic and pop from underground raves to the heart of mainstream culture. Charli's songwriting is distinctive, bold and relentlessly innovative, and, having been one of the UK's leading songwriters for a number of years now, has taken her craft to new heights with her global phenomenon Brat. I'm delighted she has been recognised for this much deserved award."
Who hosted the 2025 BRITs?

Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp co-hosted the 2024 ceremony, but a familiar face is returned for 2025, as comedian Jack Whitehall was back on hosting duties.

The BRIT Awards 2025 trophy
Acclaimed British-Nigerian multi-disciplinary artist Gabriel Moses designed the BRITs 2025 trophy.
The design of the award was inspired by Gabriel’s childhood, as he drew inspiration from sculptures his mother owned. Getting the texture of the design right was key and his creative process focused on honing in the textural tones often found in his work and recreating them in sculptural form
On what it meant to be asked to design the 2025 trophy, Gabriel said: “To be listed alongside some of the greatest artists, designers, architects, such as Vivienne Westwood, Zaha Hadid, Anish Kapoor, is truly an honour and something I will always be grateful and proud of. To now have both Slawn, and this year also myself, in the same group as people that informed our/mine visual approach, puts lots of things in perspective and it is an amazing achievement across the board.”
