Charlene Douglas admits the new series of MAFS UK is 'jaw dropping'

After what feels like the longest countdown ever, the brand new series of Married At First Sight UK hits our screens on Monday 18th September, and if the experts are right, it's going to be one of the best series to date!
Now that this year's cast have been revealed, expert Charlene Douglas has teased there will be drama in the series, calling it 'jaw dropping'.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “I’m bursting at the seams, I would love to say so much about this season.
“The thing I can say is we don’t disappoint and if I had to sum it up in two words – jaw-dropping would be the words that pop to mind.”

After filming had just ended in July, Charlene's fellow expert Mel Schilling also teased upcoming drama within the cast.
She told OK! at the time: “This season of MAFS UK has just finished filming and it is very explosive. There’s wife swapping, massive rows and even a physical altercation between two of the grooms. One of them was even removed from the show.
“Since filming ended, the cast’s WhatsApp group chat has blown up. The two grooms are going head-to-head and are planning a boxing fight between them.
“The reunion is due to be filmed in July and at this rate it will be explosive.”
Paul C Brunson also added: "The one thing I can say about it is that I think we have the most diverse cast that I’ve ever seen on any reality dating show in the world. As a result of it being so extremely diverse, that creates so much conversation and drama. Every day I show up to set and don’t know what to expect – and what happened would always blow my mind. It’s been a crazy series."
The 2023 series of Married At First Sight begins at 9pm on Monday 18th September on E4.
