Series nine of Married At First Sight UK kicked off in September 2024, with relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling pairing together Ross McCarthy and Sacha Jones.

Whilst other couples such as Eve and Charlie, and Emma and Caspar had a rough start to their MAFS journey, things were pretty smooth for Sacha and Ross, but they went on to endure some issues in the last few weeks, before sticking together the final vow ceremony. Now filming is over, check out everything you need to know about the couple.

Are Ross and Sacha still together?

Despite Ross and Sacha leaving the final vow ceremony very much together, things must have taken a sour turn, as the pair are no longer a couple.

Whilst the show was airing, the pair didn't follow each other on social media and made no mention of one another in their posts.

Now the show is over, Ross has gone public with his new girlfriend, posting a video of the pair on Instagram alongside the caption: 'The moment I been waiting for…. The real deal. My world 🌍 ❤️🖤🔐@magda11222'. (sic)

Just hours after Ross went public with his new girlfriend, Sacha also took to social media to address the split.

She wrote: 'Annnnnnnd that’s a wrap!!

'So with my @ok_mag exclusive and Ross’s hard launch, it’s no mystery that we’re no longer together. And although one of us chooses not to acknowledge ever doing the show, i’ll never regret my time on MAFS. I may now be divorced, but i’ll never look back on my experience as a negative one and act like it didn’t happen.

'I know how much you guys love some bts so I thought i’d do a post as a way of closing the chapter. Some pics were taken on a very dodgy camera during the experiment, so don’t judge 😹 others are life after MAFS!

'As I said in my interview (link in bio) my life with Ross in Walsall was the unhappiest I have ever been in my life. I truly lost myself and friends said I was a shell of who I was once was. Despite this, I did truly love him and wanted things to work out, so i’d of probs just kept going till there was nothing left of me. Hoping for a never coming change. So some thing’s really are a blessing in disguise! I’m just thankful I followed my head and not my heart when it came to moving to Manchester. Trust your intuition girlies. AND ALWAYS PUT YOUR SAFETY FIRST!!! Don’t let anyone ever try to pressure you into following a man if it doesn’t feel right.

'There’s so much more to my story, BUT a part of me will always want to protect Ross. Even if it’s not reciprocated. So instead, I leave this part of my life behind me. And wish him nothing but the best.

'There’s something so freeing in being able to say i’m single now, after having to keep quiet about if i’m still married or not for months 😹'. (sic)

More drama has since emerged, with reports suggesting Ross refused to film the second reunion show, as he doesn't want to come face-to-face with Sacha.

A source told the press: "Producers are shooting another Christmas special, bringing back some of the biggest MAFS faces from this series and the previous one.

"They are really keen to get Ross, given all the drama that has gone down after he dumped her following filming wrapping, but he doesn’t want to face her.

"He has been avoiding productions calls and won’t commit. Bosses aren’t giving up and will keep trying to persuade him, but as of right now he wants to move past the show and focus on his new relationship.

"It’s a real blow for the production as the end of series reunion filmed before the latest run started airing, so they wanted to get back all the biggest characters to delve into the various dramas and feuds that have developed between the cast while the show has gone out on TV."

What happened on their wedding day?

Ross and Sacha were the sixth couple during series nine to tie to knot, with their wedding airing during the episode on Thursday 19th September.

The pair seemed to have a strong initial connection, with Ross even saying to the camera: "She's ticking all the bosses - eyes, smile. It's like a dream come true."

After not allowing her husband to kiss her after the ceremony, Sacha confessed she is in fact celibate, something which Ross respected, going on to sleep on the sofa on their wedding night.

What happened on their honeymoon?

Ross and Sacha headed off to Barbados on their honeymoon, where they built an even stronger connection after Sacha opened up about being cheated on in the past, which led to her being celibate.

Did Ross and Sacha move in together?

Following a very successful wedding day and honeymoon, Ross and Sacha were thrilled to be moving in to their apartment together, with Sacha even looking forward to sharing the bed with Ross.

What happened at the final vows?

To viewers, it looked like Sacha was giving Ross an ultimatum during the final vow ceremony, to either move to her hometown of Walsall, or break things off.

During the episode which aired on Tuesday 12th November, Sacha broke down in tears and stormed out during the first part of Ross' vows, crying hysterically on the steps of the lavish venue.

However, after Sacha retuned to hear the rest of what he had to say, Ross eventually did reveal he would move to Walsall. Sacha also showed her love for Ross by doing her vows using British Sign Language, something she'd spent hours learning ahead of the ceremony.

However, an angry Sacha has now taken to social media to accuse MAFS UK producers of spoiling a surprise she had for Ross, revealing that is why she was crying.

In a video, she said: "I am seething, I want to swear so bad. How dare they make it look like I was crying over something to do with what Ross was saying.

"No no no no no...they ruined something for me, a surprise I had for Ross right before the vows and they've edited to make it look like I was crying about Walsall. They've done me dirty, how false and fake and ridiculous and a complete lie that edit is."

Sacha also shared a screenshot of text messages from Ross, which seemingly shows he'd already told her he was happy to move to Walsall before the final vow ceremony.

Lacey and Nathan - SPLIT

Are Lacey and Nathan still together?
Although neither Lacey or Nathan have confirmed the news themselves, a national newspaper is reporting the pair's relationship fizzled out just weeks after filming for the reunion show in April 2024. A source said: "Nathan and Lacey really tried to make their relationship work in the real world but it just fizzled after a while. The final vows were filmed in February and they were still going strong in April when the reunion was shot, but since then they have called it quits.

"They were both sad it didn't work out, but sadly it wasn't meant to be. It's also a big blow for fans who were really invested in their relationship. They were widely viewed as the strongest couple of the series so the news that they are no longer an item is such a shame."

Wedding and honeymoon:
Things didn't get off to the best of starts during the couple's wedding, when Nathan accidentally said "wow" when he saw Lacey's twin sister, not realising she wasn't the woman he was about to marry. Lacey wasn't then best pleased when Nathan described her as looking "nice" when he saw her for the first time at the altar.

Despite getting on well during their honeymoon, Lacey had a few reservations over Nathan's emotional intelligence, after she spoke to him about losing people close to her in a car crash. After having a chat about her feelings, Nathan opened up about having ADHD, and apologised for the way he reacted. Nathan later told her he does have emotional maturity and reassured her she can speak to him about anything.

On return to the UK, the pair moved in to their apartment together and attended the first dinner party hand-in-hand.

First commitment ceremony:
The pair were quick to tell the experts how much they are enjoying each other's company, admitting they are already the best of friends. Lacey also praised Nathan for opening up to her about his ADHD, as well as the little things he does for, such as making her breakfast in bed. Unsurprisingly, both Lacey and Nathan chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Despite missing the second dinner party due to being unwell, Lacey was well enough to attend the second commitment ceremony alongside Nathan. The pair expressed how well things are going for them, with both choosing to stay another week.

Third commitment ceremony:
Despite upsetting Lacey's mum and sister with his banter when they came to visit, Lacey was fully supportive of her husband and defended him against them. During a chat with the experts, Nathan revealed he's opening up more emotionally and definitely falling for Lacey. Both Nathan and Lacey chose to stay for another week, admitting they are looking forward to what is to come.

Fourth commitment ceremony:
As well as revealing he'd re-locate to be with Lacey outside of the experiment, Nathan confessed he loves Lacey, but he want to say the words to her in the correct settings. The pair both chose to stay another week in the experiment.

Fifth commitment ceremony:
Lacey was over the moon when Nathan bought her flowers during Love/Hate week, and the pair were quick to express to the experts that they've enjoyed their best week yet. Unsurprisingly, they both chose to stay in the experiment.

Final commitment ceremony:
Off the back of a very good Home Stays week, Lacey and Nathan expressed how good things were going, telling the experts they have very strong feelings towards each other. The pair also confirmed the distance between them outside of the experiment is no longer an issue due to how much they appreciate each other. Both Lacey and Nathan chose to stay in the experiment for the final week.

Final vows:
Although Lacey confessed she had a few worries over Nathan's ability to fully communicate his feelings, these two went into the vow renewal ceremony in a really good place. Nathan was able to get his feelings down on a paper for the final vows, showing Lacey just how he feels about her, something she was left thrilled at! The pair left the experiment looking totally loved-up.

Sacha and Ross - SPLIT

Are Sacha and Ross still together?
Despite moving in together immediately after their final vows, Sacha and Ross' relationship didn't last long, with Ross now dating a brand new girl, even going Instagram official with her after the reunion show aired.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Although there seemed to be an initial attraction between Sacha and Ross at the altar, things took an awkward turn when Sacha confessed she is celibate, with the Aesthetics Practitioner from Birmingham worried about sharing a bed with her new husband. The couple headed off to Barbados on their honeymoon, where Sacha felt a lot more comfortable being around Ross, even letting him share the same bed with her. Sacha also opened up to Ross about being cheated on in the past, revealing more about why she's chose to be celibate. Ross then ended the honeymoon by gifting Sacha a beautiful bunch of flowers and a cute little note.

The pair moved in together on their return to the UK, attending the first dinner party looking very happy together, with both Sacha and Ross gushing about each other to the group.

First commitment ceremony:
The pair confessed how comfortable they feel with each other, admitting they can't imagine spending a day apart. Sacha also told the experts she's never felt so safe in a relationship than she does with Ross. The pair both chose to stay in the experiment.

Second commitment ceremony:
Ross and Sacha revealed to the experts they'd had another great week, with the pair even enjoying a number of kisses during the second dinner party. The pair confirmed they are now so comfortable together and miss each other when they are apart. Saying some lovely words to each other, the pair both chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
Following another positive week, where Ross met Sacha's parents, the pair expressed how happy they are and told each other they love each other! Unsurprisingly, both Sacha and Ross chose to stay in the experiment.

Fourth commitment ceremony:
Another week, another positive step in the right direction for Sacha and Ross. With no issues to report to the experts, both Sacha and Ross made a quick decision to both stay in the experiment.

Fifth commitment ceremony:
Sacha and Ross endured one of their toughest weeks yet following a row which resulted in Ross throwing his ring and leaving the apartment. Sacha admitted she's now wary of how Ross could react outside of the experiment, but the pair did make up after Ross took responsibility for his actions, and wrote Sacha a letter to apologise. During the commitment ceremony, Sacha and Ross both chose to stay, revealing they are learning inside of the experiment in hope they can take it to the real world.

Final commitment ceremony:
Home Stays week was very successful for Sacha and Ross, with Sasha even meeting Ross' beloved daughter. However, on return back to London, a huge argument took place between the pair, which resulted in Ross throwing his food at the wall and storming out off camera. During a chat with the experts at the final commitment ceremony, the pair confessed they both have a fiery side, with Mel telling the pair they need to communicate better and take accountability for their actions. When it came to the decision, Ross chose to stay, but Sacha revealed she cannot deal with his temper, choosing to leave. However, after hearing Ross' words, Sacha chose to stay to try and save their relationship.

Final vows:
The pair went into the vow renewal with worries about where they'd live, with Sacha revealing if Ross wouldn't move to Walsall things wouldn't work out. After hearing the first part of Ross' vows, Sacha broke down in tears and was forced to walk off set, but she later returned to hear Ross reveal he would be willing to move for her. Sacha then learnt her entire vows in British Sign Language, something which left Ross very happy. By the end, the pair were very happy together and left the experiment as a couple.

Polly and Adam - SPLIT

Are Polly and Adam still together?
No, they pair split at the final vow ceremony.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Whilst Polly seemed very pleased with her match after seeing him at the altar, the same couldn't be said for Adam, who later confessed his new wife wasn't his 'usual type'. Polly's best friend Alfie was quick to pick up on the negative vibes, with him later telling her what her new husband said. However, the pair were intimate on their wedding night and seemed to head off on their honeymoon in Italy in a good place. Things didn't last long though, when Adam seemed distance from Polly, leading her to confront him about his true feelings towards her.

Despite the drama on the honeymoon, Polly and Adam moved in together when they returned from Italy, but things kicked off between the pair at the first dinner party, when Adam's conversation rating Polly a 'four' was misheard by the girls, resulting in Polly walking away from the table in tears.

First commitment ceremony:
The pair addressed Adam's lack of physical attraction to Polly with the experts, with Paul, Mel and Charlene giving him some great advice, revealing he's missing out on an 'incredible opportunity'. Paul also called out Adam for being intimate with Polly on their wedding night, leading Polly to get emotional and open up about being rejected in the past. After the chat, the pair both chose to stay in the experiment.

Second commitment ceremony:
After they endured an argument at the second dinner party, things were tense on the couch between Polly and Adam, with Polly going on to explain why she was upset with Adam's answer during the honesty box task. Adam later left the experts in shock with his words, where he admitted he'd give her permission to go with another guy if she wanted. Despite this, Polly and Adam both chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
After admitting to the group they are now out of the friendzone and being intimate, Adam and Polly revealed to the experts they now feel like they are in a relationship and not just best friends. Polly did confess she would like more compliments and more PDA from Adam, which he took on board and agreed with. The couple both chose to stay for another week.

Fourth commitment ceremony:
Although it had looked like things were eventually working out for these two, the retreat caused more problems when Polly admitted she'd like to swap her husband for Stephen. A furious Adam expressed his hurt during the commitment ceremony, but did admit he's keen to stay because he 100% has feelings for Polly.

Fifth commitment ceremony:
Love/Hate week worked very well for Polly and Adam, with Adam showing off his romantic side with a lovely surprise for Polly in their apartment. During their chat with the experts, Polly confessed it was the first time she had butterflies with Adam, with the pair both choosing to stay in the experiment.

Final commitment ceremony:
Although things didn't get off to the best start during Home Stays week, things took a positive turn when Adam witnessed Polly chill out and relax around her own family. During a chat with the experts at the final commitment ceremony, the pair confessed they felt a positive shift in their relationship after the Home Stays week, admitting they are excited to see what the future holds. The pair both chose to stay for the final week.

Final vows:
Continuing with their turbulent relationship until the very end, Polly and Adam weren't on speaking terms as they moved out of their apartment and headed home ahead of the final vow ceremony. After speaking to their family members, both Polly and Adam did show up to say their vows, where Polly dumped Adam and walked off.

Amy and Luke - SPLIT

Are Amy and Luke still together?
Despite Luke's best efforts, Amy wasn't convinced and the pair split during the final vow ceremony.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Whilst initial attraction was certainly there for these two, Amy was a little put off by Luke's intense eye-contact and compliments, with her even telling the camera it was giving her the 'ick' a little. Despite this, after a pep talk from her bridesmaids, Amy revealed to Luke she's never been with a gentleman before so she was a little taken-a-back by his kind behaviour.

The pair jetted of to The Bahamas for their honeymoon, where things went very well for the two. After being able to get to know each other on a deeper level, Amy and Luke shared a kiss during a romantic dinner, the perfect end to a perfect honeymoon.

First commitment ceremony:
After a successful wedding and honeymoon, Amy and Luke had nothing bad to say about each other during their first commitment ceremony, with Luke admitting Amy is the exact time of girl he needs. Unsurprisingly, both chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Amy and Luke had their first hiccup after the retreat, after Amy confessed during girls day that she found Nathan the 'most attractive', leaving Luke feeling both jealous and insecure. Despite this, the pair admitted they are now intimate and agreed they'd both like to stay and work on their relationship further.

Third commitment ceremony:
Despite Amy being left a little uncomfortable during Luke's sexual comments at the pottery class, the pair actually had a really good Love/Hate week, where they were able to discuss their feelings deeper. The couple both chose to stay for another week.

Final commitment ceremony:
Home Stays week was a complete disaster for Amy and Luke, with constant arguments resulting in Luke taking his ring off in front of Amy's friends and declaring he was single. After spending time apart before the final commitment ceremony, the pair chatted through their problems with the experts on the couch, where they seemingly took on board the advice. Following their chat, Amy chose to leave the experiment, but due to Luke wanting to stay the pair remained for the final week.

Final vows:
Despite a rough final few weeks of the experiment, Amy and Luke had put their rings back on and things did seem to improve between the pair. However, despite Luke wanting to continue things outside of the experiment, Amy couldn't shake off his past lies, going on to deliver one of the most brutal final vows in the show's history. Unsurprisingly, these two then left single.

Holly and Alex - UNKNOWN

Are Holly and Alex still together?
Despite the pair leaving during the fifth commitment ceremony, in recent weeks Holly and Alex have seemingly reconciled, posting photos together on social media. However, the pair are yet to confirm if they are romantically together or just good friends.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Things started off very well for the pair, with their wedding ceremony going without any hiccups and clear chemistry between the two. However, Holly was concerned about telling Alex that she is a mum-of-two. Holly broke the news as they were getting their photographs taken, with Alex admitting it wouldn't be his preference due to not having any experience as being a dad. He did however tell Holly's friend it's something which wouldn't be a problem if he fell in love with Holly, and later admitted to Holly sees the pair working out, before presenting her with a huge bunch of red roses.

The pair headed of to The Maldives on their honeymoon, where they endured a fiery argument early on after Holly wasn't happy her husband chose to sleep when they first arrived. After an emotional chat, where Holly opened up the failure of her last relationship, the pair put their argument behind them and seemed to enjoy the rest of their honeymoon. Alex also confessed to Holly the more time he spends with her, the more he realises he likes her.

Things seemed to be amazing between the pair as they moved in together, but not long into the first dinner party, Holly was made aware of Alex's wife-swap comments on the stag do, leaving her fuming. After she confronted him about his comments, the pair got into an argument which rolled out across the night, with Alex even picking up his chair and moving to the other end of the table.

First commitment ceremony:
Following their argument at the dinner party, tensions were high as they sat on the couch apart, with some pretty awful body language. Alex was also not wearing his ring, saying to Holly if they weren't in the experiment he would have 'ghosted' her by now. After being called immature by Paul, the pair spoke about how the problems started, with Holly breaking down in tears, leading Alex to try an explain his stag do comment further. Alex shocked the group by saying he wanted to leave, but because Holly chose to stay, the pair remained in the experiment.

Second commitment ceremony:
Holly and Alex endured another fiery week, with Alex even moving out of the couple's apartment, and the pair arriving separately at the second dinner party. Despite the little arguments, Holly and Alex kissed and made-up and admitted they know they have to work to do on their relationship, but would like to put the work in. The pair both chose to stay.

Third commitment ceremony:
Despite having a very positive week with each other, the pair had another big argument during the dinner party, after Holly wasn't impressed when he chatted to new girl Amy. The couple chatted to the experts to figure out their wider issues, but Alex did confess he's tired of going over the same thing over and over again, admitting the trust isn't there for him. Despite this, both Alex and Holly chose to stay for another week.

Fourth commitment ceremony:
Following a very positive week for the pair, which saw them grow closer together at the retreat, both Alex and Holly expressed how good they felt together during the fourth commitment ceremony. After giving advice to 'never give up' to the rest of their co-stars, Holly and Alex both chose to stay in the experiment for another week.

Fifth commitment ceremony:
Following yet another fiery week, Holly and Alex could barely even look at each other during their chat with the experts. The pair had more disagreements on the sofa, ending their time in the experiment on a very sour note.

The experts matched 28-year-old Kieran from Newcastle with 31-year-old Kristina from East Sussex.

Wedding and honeymoon:

Following an emotional conversation, where Kieran said he couldn't give Kristina the emotional support she needed, the pair chose to end their relationship and leave the experiment.

Despite this, it sounds like these two are still very good friends.

Caspar and Emma - LEFT EXPERIMENT

The experts matched 31-year-old Emma from Bristol with 34-year-old Caspar from New Forest.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Although Caspar admitted he wasn't initially attracted to Emma, his mum and twin sister seemed to love her high energy personality, with the pair telling him to give her a chance. Emma and Caspar had a heart-to-heart chat at the wedding, realising they share in common the fact they've never been a proper relationship before.

During the honeymoon, Caspar admitted once again he wasn't physically attracted to Emma, telling her he hasn't felt a spark with her. Caspar then went on to say certain traits reminded him of his twin sister, before admitting his usual type wasn't a 'curvy person', leaving Emma furious and telling him he needs to have a better view of women. Despite spending the night apart, Caspar and Emma both admitted the next day they wanted to move forward and make things work.

On returning to the UK, Caspar and Emma moved in to their apartment together, but it was clear to see Caspar still had reservations about his wife during the first dinner party, where Emma also told the girls Caspar's remarks about her weight on the honeymoon.

First commitment ceremony:
Emma poured her out at after telling the experts about Caspar's comments on the honeymoon, admitting she did get a little fierce in defending herself. Caspar once again brought up the fact that Emma reminds him too much of his sister, before telling the experts he doesn't understand why they matched the pair together, because they are 'so different on so many levels'. Saying she didn't want to give up on the first hurdle, Emma chose to stay, with Caspar also staying, despite admitting he's not happy.

Second commitment ceremony:
Despite having a more positive week, the pair still aren't living together and admitted they are currently in the experiment as mates. Emma also admitted her struggles about intimacy with Caspar, admitting at the moment she can't see it coming. However, the pair both chose to stay in the experiment, revealing they would move back in together.

Third commitment ceremony:
After an argument at the dinner party, which led to Caspar and Emma spending the night apart, the pair had a chat with the experts about their differences, with Mel telling the couple they need to see some real change in the next week. Caspar actually chose to leave the experiment, but as Emma chose to stay, the pair remained for another week.

Fourth commitment ceremony:

However, this time round, both Emma and Caspar chose to stay in the experiment.

Fifth commitment ceremony:
During the penultimate commitment ceremony, both Caspar and Emma revealed enough was enough, with both admitting they don't see themselves in a romantic relationship. Following a pretty rocky experiment for the pair, both Caspar and Emma chose to leave.

Sionainn and Ryan - LEFT EXPERIMENT

29-year-old Sionainn and 29-year-old Ryan were the final couple matched by the experts during series nine.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Although Sionainn's first impression of her new husband was that he would be a 'player', the more she got to know Ryan during the ceremony and reception, the more she admitted she was too fast to pre-judge him. During the wedding, Ryan told his new wife that he's a proud dad to his son Leo, as well as bravely opening up about having bladder cancer a few years ago. By the end of the night, the pair seemed to be closer and less awkward, admitting they are keen to make things work.

The pair went to Copenhagen for their honeymoon where they found a connection on a more personal level. Sionainn found herself comfortable talking about past traumas in her life, with Ryan admitting he will be fully supportive of her throughout. Following a tense conversation with Stephen during the commitment ceremony, both Sionainn and Ryan chose to stay.

However, just days later, Sionainn and Ryan quit the experiment after a blazing row over shoelaces, where Ryan apparently told his bride he'd been faking his feelings for her.

Hannah and Stephen - LEFT EXPERIMENT

The experts matched 33-year-old Hannah with 33-year-old Stephen. The pair were the second intruder couple to get married during series nine.

Wedding and honeymoon:
Hannah and Stephen got off to a good start on their wedding day, even enjoying a snog after their vows! During the reception, Hannah was shocked to learn Stephen had been married before and that he has four children, and she was quick to ask if he would be open to having more, due to her really wanting to be a mum one day. Despite this, Stephen was happy with the way Hannah reacted, with the pair enjoying the day and admitting they do have an instant connection.

The couple took a trip to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon, and it didn't take long for arguments to begin. After Stephen chose to stay in a different room to Hannah, they got into another row when she claimed it made her feel 'rejected and 'embarrassed'. Following another night apart, the pair met for a make or break chat, where Stephen confessed he wanted them to take baby steps to save their relationship.

First commitment ceremony:
Following a very fiery and emotional first commitment ceremony for the pair, where Stephen admitted he doesn't trust Hannah, things looked doomed for the pair, despite the experts trying to intervene. Although Stephen chose to leave the experiment, Hannah chose to stay, meaning the pair had to continue for anther week and attempt to work things out.

Second commitment ceremony:
After a week of not speaking and staying apart at the retreat, where both Hannah and Stephen expressed interest in their other co-stars, unsurprisingly, they both chose to leave the experiment apart.

Richelle and Orson - LEFT EXPERIMENT

48-year-old Richelle and 41-year-old Orson are the oldest couple on this year's experiment.

Wedding and honeymoon:

Initial vibes were really good for these two, with the pair sharing Caribbean heritage. However, Richelle's inquisitiveness during their photoshoot seemed to annoy Orson, with him expressing his concerns to his friends. Orson later spoke to his bride to reveal he was overwhelmed with her questions, with Richelle admitting she appreciated him opening up.

The pair headed off to Mauritius on their honeymoon, and whilst it started well for the two, Richelle later told the cameras she didn't trust her husband. Richelle also expressed she wanted Orson to ask more questions, admitting she doesn't know if she will ever be able to take her guard down or relax. Later in the episode, she was seen walking off from her husband, saying: "Sorry guys I think I'm done."

Despite hoping Richelle would come round, Orson moved into their apartment alone, and attended the first dinner party alone, with Richelle nowhere to be seen.

First commitment ceremony:
Richelle surprised Orson by showing up at their apartment on the day of the first commitment ceremony, much to the delight of Orson. The pair chatted through their differences with the experts and discussed what went wrong on their honeymoon. After being told they are either 'fully in or out' of the experiment, both chose to stay to work things out.

Second commitment ceremony:
Following a much more positive week, Richelle admitted to the experts she's used to a more up and down relationship, but did confess she has no complaints about Orson. The pair both chose to stay another week.

Third commitment ceremony:
Richelle and Orson endured some struggles when Richelle asked Orson if he was using his acting skills to fake his feelings for her, leading to a big argument between the two. Things also took a sour turn during the dinner party when Richelle admitted she didn't think Orson was masculine enough for her, before going on to state she's not convinced they have a future during a chat with the experts at the third commitment ceremony. Despite this, they both chose to stay another week and work on things.

Fourth commitment ceremony:
Following a disastrous week at the retreat, where Orson got to know cast mate Hannah, Richelle admitted during the fourth commitment ceremony that she felt 'embarrassed' to have ever married Orson. Unsurprisingly, both chose to leave the experiment.

Eve and Charlie - LEFT EXPERIMENT

The experts matched 31-year-old Eve from Omagh with 30-year-old Charlie from Surrey, with the pair being the only same-sex couple in series nine.

Wedding and honeymoon:
The couple were both besotted with each other on their wedding day, but they did discover they have different personality types when it comes to resolving drama. On the honeymoon, Eve expressed concerns about how quickly Charlie wanted things to move, with the pair getting into a heated argument when Eve took herself away for some space, staying in a separate apartment. After Eve did the same thing again 24 hours later, things kicked off once again, with Eve walking away from her wife in tears.

Their honeymoon ended on another argument, with Eve once again walking off, whilst Charlie said took her ring off and said she was leaving the experiment.

In a shock to viewers, the pair did reunite back in the UK, attending the first dinner party hand-in-hand. But whilst Charlie seemed to be telling the group everything was OK between the two, Eve was more honest, revealing some of the issues they'd encountered, as well as announcing she was staying in a separate apartment to Charlie.

First commitment ceremony:
After a teary chat with the experts about the events which took place on their honeymoon, Charlie was quick to admit she wants things to work out with Eve, choosing to stay. Although she didn't seem as convinced, Eve also chose to stay.

Second commitment ceremony:
Following another tough week between the pair, which saw them living apart and Eve refusing to take part in the expert's activities, Charlie and Eve left the experiment during the second commitment ceremony. Eve was slammed by fans for listening in on Charlie's private conversations on camera, with many viewers also accusing her of 'gaslighting' Charlie throughout.
