Married at First Sight UK 2022: Line-up revealed
It's time to meet the brides and grooms!

As the hit show returns to E4 for another series, the 2022 cast for Married At First Sight UK has now been revealed, with 16 hopeful singletons looking for love.
The contestants are putting their trust in the experts to find their perfect match, who they will meet for the first time at the alter surrounded by their family and friends, as they say, "I do" to a complete stranger.
Match-making experts Mel Schilling, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas will match up the men and women based on their personalities, interests, and what they're looking for in a relationship, among other things.
This series will be longer than before, with 30 episodes as we watch the eight couples get to know each other on their honeymoon and when they move in together along with all the other couples. This will also be the first series with a lesbian couple after the 2021 series included two gay men in the social experiment. We have a lot to look forward to as show bosses have promised that this series will be "bigger and bolder" than before.
Relationships will be put to the test at weekly dinner parties, which have seen plenty of drama in past series and in Married At First Sight Australia, as well as in the commitment ceremonies where each person will choose whether to stay in the relationship or leave.

The start date for Married At First Sight UK has now been confirmed as Monday 29th August.
Announcing the news on social media, MAFS UK bosses shared a wedding invite with the words: 'You are cordially invited to the weddings of the year. Ceremonies commence Monday 29th August. Save the date!' (sic)
