Meet the brand new stars heading into the Love Island villa
Are sparks about to fly?
Last updated 20th Jul 2018
If you thought the Love Island villa was already filled with the right amount of Islanders - you're wrong! There are FOUR brand new stars heading into the villa to shake things up, and viewers will be happy to know they're joining in tonight's episode (16th July), so there won't be long to wait for the drama to unfold.
Here's everything we know about the newbies heading into Love Island so far...
Josh Mair, 21
Josh Mair is a DJ from Birmingham. He says he already likes the look of Alexandra and Georgia in the villa, but says, "I'm not putting all my focus on one girl though, I want to get to know them all and go from whoever I think I'm getting the most connection back from."
Josh describes his turn-offs as, "I don't like girls with bad teeth. Or if they're too loud and in your face," but he does say that laughter is the way to his heart. Although he's a "boys' boy," Josh says he's not afraid to step on toes to "get the girl."
Stephanie Lam, 23
Stephanie Lam is an Account Manager from Hertfordshire, who describes herself as "really easy going, I'm really fun and I don't take myself too seriously." Poor Stephanie had her heart broken not long ago, and is now looking to "genuinely connect" with someone.
She finds cockiness a massive turn off, and loves a funny guy. She described herself as a "girls' girl" and a "loyal friend," so isn't looking to break up any relationships. She's also mates with Chris Hughes from last year's Love Island, they went on a "mate date" earlier this year but that's all - apparently!
Paul Knops, 31
Paul Knops is a carpenter and model from Bournemouth. He describes himself as "likeable, approachable and I get on with everyone. I'm happy and outgoing and spontaneous." He says, "Am I looking for love? At the age of 31, yes I am. It is a different experience, finding love in the Love Island villa."
He's already attracted to Kaz and Alexandra in the villa, and says that he is looking for someone with "something special about her," and that his big turn-off is someone who is "too into themselves." He also has a HUGE claim to fame, "I was the lead guy in the Britney Spears video "Make Me." Me and Britney were friends for a bit. I got to know her really well during the making of the video!"
Laura Crane, 23
Laura Crane is a surfer from Devon. She's travelled the world competing in surfing competitions, and is now heading into the villa to find someone who "knows what they want, who is confident in their own skin and who is ready for an adventure."
Her biggest turn-off is arrogance and insecurity, and she fancies funny guys. She says she "obviously might have to tread on some toes at this point," and is more used to having friends who are guys, rather than girls.
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
