I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! hasn’t even started yet, but there’s already an evacuation plan on standby, due to the fact the camp is set to be hit by heavy rain during the first week.
Downpours are due to hit the Australia’s Gold Coast tomorrow, and could threaten Croc Creek camp.
The celebrities will reportedly be moved to temporary accommodation if it floods.
A source said, “We are preparing for all eventualities. Provisions are in place for soggy conditions and campmates are equipped with waterproofs to wear should it rain heavily.
“It’s just a shame for viewers back home in the UK who like to see the celebs enjoying the warm weather,” they explained to a national newspaper.
It was recently confirmed that Ant McPartlin will be returning as host of the show, after his difficult year in which he went to rehab for substance abuse.
He was recently spotted in the airport on the way to Oz, and even stopped to pose for pictures with fans.
I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp hosts Scarlett Moffatt, Joel Dommett and Joe Swash have also landed in Australia and already current Queen of the Jungle Scarlett has revealed on Instagram they have done their first rehearsal.
Scarlett shared a photo of an I'm A Celebrity themed cup, captioned, 'It’s starting to feel real!! I’m a celeb and extra camp eeeeek first ever rehearsal tonight 🐛🐜 #imaceleb #rehearsal'. sic
