I'm A Celeb 2022: Voting figures revealed
Over 12 million people voted!
After three amazing weeks, the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here final took place on Sunday 27th November, with an average 10.1 million viewers tuning in to see Jill Scott MBE crowned the new Queen of the Jungle.
With viewing figures up by 3.6 million from last year's final in North Wales, it's no surprise fans voted in their millions for their favourites, as Jill battled it out with Owen Warner and Matt Hancock for the big prize.
With over 12 million votes during the final, ITV have now revealed the official voting figures, showing Jill's victory was ever so slightly higher than Danny Miller's 55% during the 2021 final.
What were the I'm A Celeb voting figures?
WINNER: Jill Scott
Third place vote: 47.29%
Final vote: 57.66%
2ND PLACE: Owen Warner
Third place vote: 30.99%
Final vote: 42.34%
3RD PLACE: Matt Hancock
Third place vote: 21.72%
Many viewers dubbed the show a 'fix' during Friday (25th November) night's episode, when Mike Tindall was voted out, leaving controversial signing Matt Hancock in the final three.
Although viewers took to social media to express their anger, many thought Matt could go all the way, but he finished the show in third place with 21.72% of the vote.
Jill, Owen and Mike all appeared on Good Morning Britain via a video link on Monday 28th November, where they all expressed their personal opinions on the former health secretary.
Jill told the hosts: “To be fair he smashed the trials so as long as he was feeding us, I was happy.”
Mike then added: "When he walked in he was walking in with a lot of preconceptions.
“What Matt did prove as a campmate is that he could win stars. He wasn't fazed by the trials that he was put up against and when you're in that environment you need someone that brings back the food, and he did that.”
