Popular TV gameshow Deal or No Deal was just one of the many programmes rebooted in 2023, and it's safe to say it was certainly a popular choice with viewers!

Hosted by Stephen Mulhern, the show aired at 4pm on ITV/STV every weekday, with a number of contestants leaving a lasting impression on viewers, so it's no surprise fans have been calling out for more.

When is it on TV?

Deal or No Deal returned to our screens on Monday 28th October. Episodes will air every weeknight at 4pm.

How can I watch it?

Deal or No Deal airs on ITV1/STV, and ITVX and STV Player at 4pm.

Will there be a second series?

ITV/STV bosses confirmed the series has been commissioned for a second series, with Stephen Mulhern once again at the helm.

Host Stephen Mulhern said: “I am absolutely over the moon that Deal or No Deal is returning to our screens. The response has been incredible and series one was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I loved it! The contestants were a fantastic bunch facing the banker and our new batch of players need to hold their nerve if they want to walk away with the huge jackpot! It's such a phenomenal show and I’m absolutely chuffed to bits that we’re going to be doing it all over again. I can't wait to get back to that studio!”

Tamara Gilder, Joint Managing Director for Remarkable Entertainment, said: “We were absolutely blown away by how much love there was for the show. We can’t wait to make some more with the wonderful Stephen. Less so that Banker guy.”

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment commissioning at ITV added: “We are delighted the ITV viewers loved the new series Deal or No Deal, it was a triumphant return for this thoroughly enjoyable game show. It's a fantastic format that is both heartwarming and captivating and with Stephen at the helm it's the perfect combination.”

The commission also sees Deal or No Deal return with four celebrity specials.

Seven years after the last episode with Noel Edmonds on Channel 4, Deal or No Deal made a return to our TV screens in November last year, featuring the exact same format. Following a four week stint, the final episode aired on 15th December, with viewers crying out for more from bosses.

After seeing a contestant called Brad Wale appear on the show and reveal his heartbreaking story that he's living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), viewers went on to raise over £100,000 via Go Fund Me.

As well as the main series, the rebooted series of Deal or No Deal also included a Christmas special with Michael Owen, and a celeb special in January with Coronation Street actor Simon Gregson.

All episodes of Deal or No Deal are available to watch on ITVX and STV Player from Monday 28th October.
