Bloodlands is the latest series by Line of Duty and Bodyguard creator Jed Mercurio, set in Belfast. The series stars Northern Irish actor James Nesbitt as police detective Tom Brannick, who is looking for the serial killer who murdered his wife.

The show, which was originally due to air in 2020 but was postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, includes a great line-up of talent such as Ian McElhinney, Lisa Dwan Lorcan Cranitch, Charlene McKenna, Lola Petticrew, Chris Walley, Kathy Kiera Clarke and Susan Lynch.

After releasing the first trailer earlier this month, bosses have now confirmed a start date! Bloodlands will air at 9pm on Sunday 21st February on BBC One.
