Rihanna sparks excitement amongst fans with cryptic post 👀
What could it mean?
Rihanna has sparked excitement amongst her fans as they noticed she changed the cover photos on some of her social media accounts. The singer, who is expecting her third child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, is said to be working on her highly-anticipated ninth album, but there is a lot of speculation as to what her latest cover pic change could actually mean.
Without an announcement, Rihanna's cover photos on Facebook and X have been changed to a collage of her album names, dating back to her debut album 'Music of the Sun' through to her latest album, 'ANTI', released in 2016.
The photo change comes in the week that she celebrates 20 years since the release of her debut album, which featured hits such as 'Pon de Replay' and 'If It's Lovin' That You Want'.
In the hours since Rihanna's cover photo changed on Facebook, the photo has received more than 2,000 comments. Fans have been speculating that it could be news of her new album, a box set of her albums, or even a tour covering all of her albums, similar to Taylor Swift's record-breaking 'Eras' tour.
While Rihanna has yet to reveal further details, a merch link has appeared on her Instagram bio, with a sign-up form celebrating 20 years of Rihanna's music, with new merch arriving on Friday. So, while fans are hoping for new music, it is increasingly looking like it could be the new merch drop that she's teasing.
Earlier this year, the Smurfs movie, starring Rihanna's voice, and new music from the singer was released. However, it has been a massive nine years since the singer has released a studio album.
Rihanna has been working on her ninth album for some time, teasing fans for many years. However, it seems that we might still be a way off hearing the new music, as she is pregnant with her third child, and thought to be due in the next few months.
