Last updated 1st Dec 2023
This week, P!nk has not only released a new song called 'All Out of Fight', and put tickets on sale for her 'Summer Carnival' 2024 tour, she's also released a deluxe edition of her album 'Trustfall'.
Taking to Instagram hours before the album's release, P!nk wrote: 'The Deluxe edition of TRUSTFALL comes out tomorrow... and I CAN’T WAIT for you to hear some of my favorite songs performed live plus a few new gems!! 🎧✨ #TRUSTFALLDeluxe'. (sic)
The release follows P!nk's announcement earlier this year, when she told her fans on Instagram: 'TRUSTFALL DELUXE! Featuring 2 exclusive, unheard tracks plus some of my favorite live performances from the 2023 #SummerCarnivalTour is all yours on 12/1 🎉 I can't wait for you to experience them!! Pre-save link in bio.' (sic)
P!nk, who is known for writing about topics that matter to her, has released several songs from her album including 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again', the title track 'Trustfall', along with a song she wrote as a tribute to her late dad, 'When I Get There'.
What is the inspiration behind 'Trustfall'?
The singer previously revealed the inspiration behind the name of her latest album - which went to Number 1 in the UK when it was originally released in February 2023.
As well as sharing her excitement at releasing a new album on her socials, the singer had an album release party at the Empire State Building in New York City, and opened up about the inspiration behind her new album.
Speaking to an American radio station, P!nk said: "I feel like living and getting out of bed and participating in elections, dropping your kids off at school, having relationships, being vulnerable, having parents getting older... Just all of it feels like it requires a lot of trust from us these days. I think that a lot of the time we feel like we're falling backward and we don't know where the ground is.
"Life is also beautiful but it's an interesting time right now and it requires a lot of faith and a lot of trust. That was the theme of the last three years of my life and it all came together in what I think is a beautiful, beautiful body of work."
P!nk went on to say: "I'm like a walking wound in the world. Losing a parent and having a child be sick and having a 17-year marriage is wonky some days. And watching the news, all of it. It's all over the place but then you get to a certain point where you're like, 'Enough! Too much! I just want to turn it up to 11 and just dance and roller skate in the kitchen.' And that's the album. It's just that messy rollercoaster."
P!nk celebrated 'Trustfall's album's release day
P!nk celebrated the release of her ninth studio album 'Trustfall' earlier this year by releasing several photos, along with a heartfelt statement to her fans.
Back in February 2023, on the release day of the original album, P!nk took to her socials to share photos and a boomerrang of her holding the different formats of her new album, saying: 'I can’t believe this day is finally here!! I have been waiting almost patiently to share my heart and soul with all of you. This album means so much to me it’s silly sauce. I hope this becomes the “I remember where I was when I listened to that album” for you. So many options, how do I choose?! Box sets, zines, vinyl. I want ‘em all. #getitwhileyoucan #TRUSTFALL'. (sic)
One fan wrote: 'CONGRATULATIONS!!! All of your music touches my soul and I know this one will too!!! Thank you P!NK!!!! I adore you!!!!', with another saying: 'Every single song you sing represents a memory be it good or bad. That's what music does for me!'.
The album is P!nk's first since she released 'Hurts 2B Human' in 2019, which featured 'Walk Me Home', and 'Hurts 2B Human' featuring Khalid.
