Tom Hardy to return to CBeebies Bedtime Stories once again
Time to go to bed with a smile on your face!
After the huge success of his previous Bedtime Stories with CBeebies, Tom Hardy is returning to screens with another instalments for children and parents alike! The fan-favourite, who has now read 13 stories on the show, will return once again next Weds 5th July to read another.
The CBeebies Twitter account announced the news that Tom, who always appears with his pooch in tow, would be returning: 'Save the date - 5th July! Tom Hardy (and Blue) returns with a story to mark 75 years of the NHS. 💙'
CBeebies confirmed in the comments on Instagram that Tom will be reading Zog and the Flying Doctors by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the team behind the likes of The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and Stick Man.
There's no denying that parents will be equally as excited by the news as the kiddies, with plenty of parents commenting on Instagram that they'd be tuning in, as one joked: 'Even if the babies are in bed,' and another added: 'A story from Mr Hardy on your birthday 🥳,' while one commented: 'He could read the yellow pages… I wouldn’t mind…😍.'
This comes after Tom delighted families during the 2020 lockdown with a full week of bedtime reading - but that wasn't his first foray into the CBeebies show, as he's continually kept both kids and parents very happy indeed over the years, starting in 2016!
