Perrie Edwards 'tears base of spine' in agonising injury
She's also slipped a disc!
After being forced to take a number of months off during lockdown, Little Mix girls Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson are certainly making up for lost time now.
Not only are they featuring in their very own TV show The Search, the girls have just released their new single 'Sweet Melody', have their sixth studio album 'Confetti' dropping on Friday 6th November, and have a massive arena tour to look forward to in 2021!
So, as you can imagine it's not exactly an ideal time for Perrie to be suffering from a VERY painful sounding injurry right now, but that's exactly what is happening.
During a live Q&A with their fans on Twitter, South Shields born singer Perrie revealed she has teared the base of her spine and slipped a disc in her back! 😲
When a fan asked, 'Are you still recovering from learning the choreo for the video and the performance on the search?🤔😂'.
Perrie replied saying, 'SERIOUSLY! I recently found out I have a slipped disk & tear in the base of my back/spine and I die every time we dance'. (sic)
Being the trouper that she is, the agonising injury didn't stop Perrie showing off her amazing dance moves during Little Mix's debut performance of their latest single 'Sweet Melody' last weekend.
Although Jade was missing due to self-isolating at home, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jesy all took to the stage to open the first live show of Little Mix: The Search.

After missing the first live show and instead appearing via a video link, Jade is due to be back in the studio for this weekend's episode of The Search.
