Made In Chelsea's Maeva and James announce proposal AND pregnancy
The couple's first child is due in November
If you've been watching the current series of E4 show Made In Chelsea, or you've been keeping up to date with Gogglebox over the last few months, you'll be aware of all the relationship drama between couple Maeva D'Ascanio and James Taylor.
Keen to be engaged, French beauty Maeva got tired of waiting for her man to pop the question, leading to one of the most awkward reality TV moments of all time, when she proposed to him, only to get a solid no from James.
The drama didn't end there either, after James was accused of kissing another girl, he later confirmed he'd already bought a ring for Maeva, despite initially saying he wasn't ready to get married.
Well, away from the drama of Made In Chelsea, there's been another update in the lives of James and Maeva, and it's a pretty big one (or should we say two).
Not only have the couple confirmed they are engaged, after James proposed in Rome, the pair are also expecting their first child together!
Following an interview with Hello! Magazine, Maeva wrote on Instagram: 'I'm so excited to finally share all the details about James' surprise proposal, including a look at my gorgeous ring... 💍 P.S: We've also been hiding another secret... (🤰)'. (sic)
Speaking to the publication, Maeva confessed: "All my dreams are coming true at the same time. I still don't believe it! It's all amazing - I just want to enjoy it all as much as I can."
And it sounds like James can't wait to become a dad, with the couple's baby due in November.
He said: "We are more excited every day. My dad told me that when he had his first child, he never thought he could love something so much. And I'm starting to get an inkling of that feeling as this baby growing in Maeva's tummy is pretty special."
