Fans think Love Island's Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey are back together
They are expecting a baby together
Love Island 2016 winners Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Masssey have fans wondering if they are back together after a cosy Instagram post.
The couple, who announced they were expecting their first child together back in May, split up just two weeks before Cara discovered she was pregnant.
Speaking at the time of the split, Cara told OK! Magazine, "It’s a shame and a sad situation. I know a lot of people will think, well you’re going to have a baby together so just stay together – but we’re not going to do that just to look like the perfect couple.”
But now, fans of the pair think Cara and Nathan have put their differences aside after Nathan posted a 'family' snap to his Instagram page.
Sharing a photo of Cara holding her bump, whilst he stood behind her with his arm on her shoulder, Nathan wrote, 'I'm loving the idea of having a baby , and becoming a father 😍✌🏼💙 @cara_delahoyde , my new fave pic of us this ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼'
Fans were quick to speculate, with one user writing, 'Are youse back together? sic, with another adding, 'Seriously are they back together @chloepayne18 .... They were the most real couple going!!!'.
Neither Nathan or Cara have admitted they are a couple, but Cara did admit she hopes to get back with Nathan in the future.
Speaking on This Morning, Cara told Holly Willoughby, "It would be lovely to have a little family and look back and show our kid where we met."
Cara and Nathan confirmed they were no longer a couple back in April, with Cara writing, 'Me & nath have split 💔 sometimes love just isn't enough, but what will be will be ❤️ thankyou for everyone's support lately' on Twitter.
TOWIE star Nathan shared a snap of himself looking to the floor with the caption, 'The worst feeling in the world is when you know that you both love each other , but still you can't be together ! Me and Cara have split, we've had the summer of our lives together , but sadly come to a end , I wish her the best for the future 💔.' sic
Since the split, it's clear that Cara and Nathan have remained great friends, with Nathan being there for Cara throughout her pregnancy.
Just last month Nathan gushed about his excitement for meeting his baby. Sharing a photo of himself and Cara looking after a fake baby on Love Island last year, Nathan wrote, 'Who would of thought it ayyyy !!! Can't wait to meet my little menace , I'm counting down the days !!! 💙👶🏼'.
We hope these two do eventually get back together! ❤️
