He was bandaged up!

Loveable Geordie duo Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have kept audiences entertained for 15 series of hit show Britain's Got Talent, and this year is certainly no different!

However, it seems Ant got a little too involved with one act during this weekend show, as the 46-year-old endured a small cut to his head whilst trying to open an coconut.

In a video posted to BGT's official social media accounts, Ant can be seen trying to punch open a coconut as an act attempts to set a new world record, before he quickly realises that method would 'break his knuckles'.

Not giving in, Ant then attempts to open the coconut by headbutting it, which leads to him cutting his forehead, much to the amusement of co-host Dec.

After Ant sarcastically called for a medic to help him, it seems healthy and safety is priority on set, with the medic bandaging up his head, before jokingly telling Ant he'd need to change the dressing every day for the next three weeks.

Despite Ant actually injuring himself in the video, fans were quick to comment expressing how much the Geordie duo cheer them up.

One wrote: 'Love you two. I was feeling down and this made me laugh and smile. Thanks!', with another writing: 'Aww why couldn't any of this have made the show?!?! Watching it has made my night anyway 🤣'.

Another added: 'My abdominal muscles are literally cramping from laughing so hard just now. This is pure TV gold 😂😂😂'.
