Oscars 2020: Full Winners List The 2020 show is over!
Author: James White Published 10th Feb 2020 Last updated 10th Feb 2020 The 2020 Oscars have happened, and the big winners were definitely Parasite and director Bong Joon-Ho, winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best International Feature Film and Original Screenplay.
As for the acting categories, they fell right in line with what everyone had expected, especially given the dominance of Pitt, Phoenix, Dern and Zellweger in other awards. In fact, there were the usual batch of less-than-shocking wins, with just one or two surprises in smaller categories.
The show itself, once more without a host, started out moving swiftly, though a slightly baffling performance of 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem (tied into music in the movies) slowed things down considerably. There were flubs (Diane Keaton forgetting to say, "the nominees are" and hitting the microphone stand with the envelope) and funny moments (Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Will Ferrell and Maya Rudolph & Kristen Wiig overcame the usual potted teleprompter tosh, while Rebel Wilson and James Corden leaned into the Cats backlash.
